I purchased the Balance Ball Chair about six months ago and for the most part love the comfort of it, so I give it three stars. The ball color was not what I ordered but it would have been too expensive to exchange it so I've been living with it. I have recommended this chair to many co-workers and friends but I won't anymore. The other day while sitting on it, the ball started to deflate for no apparent reason and I discovered about an 1/8" hole in a seam. The ball is only used on the chair base, I weigh less than 200 lbs and there are no sharp objects in close proximity. It was properly inflated. I have had other exercise balance balls that have lasted much longer with much more use. Looking at the entire seam on the now deflated ball I see that it is poorly constructed. Very disappointed in the quality of the ball. Now I'm left to either pay to replace the ball - which may be of the same poor quality - or throw away the chair. Not cool but my back and knee are pleading with me to do something.

I think this chair is absolutely wonderful!!! I have been sitting on it about 10 days now and I must say I think my back is stronger already. I know my balance has already improved. At the end of the first day I was tired at the end of the day, but I think that's just because I bounced all day on the chair! HaHa.. I have to move around to different drawers and cabinets next to my desk so I am always conscious of holding my stomach in and turning correctly..the ball makes it fun. I have always been one to sit up in my chair rather than use the seat back to lean against and I don't think the back brace is really necessary on this chair. I haven't removed it yet, but I probably will get around to taking it off. I think the complaint about the ball being too small is incorrect. All you have to do is add the right amount of air to adjust to the needed seating level at your desk. I stopped filling the ball too soon initially and I thought the same thing...that it was too small because I needed the seat higher. Then I just decided to add more air and eyeballed where I thought it should be. It was perfect. I even put more air in it to try it higher, but ended up letting some of the air out to get it back to where it worked best for me! As I said........ Love it, Love it, Love it !!!!!

I love my new chair and the girl in the next office just ordered one as well. I'm sure there will be more to follow. I think I may need more air in my chair though but it seems full but it isn't to a 52cm mark on the wall yet. Any advice? I am almost 5'8" and am not sure if I should continue inflating or just get the extenders. I didn't think the extenders were needed until you were about 5'10 or 5'11". Do you have a measurement for the ball for the circumference maybe that would help make me feel better about adding air.

18 months ago I had back surgery which included 2 4 in rods and screws and a fusino of two discs. It was a long recovery and I was out work for 3 months. Since then I have fully recovered and am fully funciton even jogging again hpwever I suffer a high level of stiffness whien I am working or staying in one palce for too long. I convinced my boss to buy me a chair .... and it has proven to be one of the best things I have ever done. I have no stiffness anywhere, I can sit on it all day and feel great. My co-workers see it and all try it out. I keep saying that afer trying it everyone will want one !!!! My company spends $700.00 on just 1 streamlined chairs with a fancy name and everyone gets stiff. I could not have asked for more from this chair and I will never go back to just a regular chair.

I've had my chair for about a month now. It took me some time to put it together, I'm of average mechanical ability. If you strictly follow the instructions and study the pictures, you will do okay. Had to let the air out after a day and refill. Could not use the enclosed pump, it tired me out and I got no where fast. Fortunately for me, I already had an electric pump for air mistresses. I got the forest color and it adds just enough color to my small office and the base matches my desk, or close enough. The first time I used it, my tummy muscles felt used, lol. It brings your attention to your posture, which is what I needed. The old desk chair went out to the curb, and it wasn't that old. Someone else is using it now. I feel like this balance chair was designed just for me. I am 5'5"", recovering from breast and now pituitary cancer and needed to strengthen my core and correct my sitting posture. Not sure I could use it all day at work where I sit for longer periods of time, but at home, working on paying bills and using my sewing machine, it is perfect. Thank you Giaim for offering it! Just what I needed!

Since using the balance ball chair, I have had no numbness in my legs. I am 5'1" and previous chairs would cut off the circulation in my legs. I have also experienced less muscle pain in my upper right back area due to the balance ball chair encouraging better posture. Great product! Great service!

I have had the chair for a couple of weeks. I have noticed improvement in not slouching while I am sitting. I sit at a desk for 7-8 hours a day. I was worried it might not be high enough but it works just great. Easy to add or release air as needed.
