I purchesed this chair because I spend 8+ hours each day sitting at my desk working on my computer. By the end of the day, I'm usually very sore due to inactivity, but the balance ball chair has changed all of that. I can sit and bounce, I can sit on the edge and balance or I can sit all the way back and still feel good. This chair has improved my sitting posture and also is fun!
This chair is my favorite place to be. I work from home and I am in my chair non stop and I love it. I have back problems and it is like night and day from a regular chair. This chair is MAGIC!!!!!
We now have 3 Gaiam Balance Ball Chairs in our office and love them. We would love to become a distributor for this product, a day has not gone by that a patient has not asked for information on where to purchase one!
I am absolutely in love with this chair! I have used a balancing ball as a chair before, but this set up is at the perfect height for my desk, the backrest fits at the perfect level and positioning for me & everything just fits amazingly for me.

After a bout with sciatica a year ago, I knew I had to change my work chair. The balance ball seat is perfect because it rolls easily from computer to desk, forces good posture and encourages quick "stretch" breaks. We're getting a second one for my work partner.

I bought our chair for my son who has ADHD. It is good in that he can bounce slightly while doing his homework instead of focusing that energy to his hands and folding or crumbling paper or doodling on his worksheets. He also enjoys the chair so he doesn't mind going to do his homework and since his brothers and sister don't have one it makes him feel special. It is not very attractive but we knew what to expect and it is worth it!

This is so fabulous- The frame back hits exactly the right spot to stretch out the kinks when I lean back. I can feel my core muscles make tiny adjustments throughout the time I'm using the chair- easy and effortless strengthening. I used to sit on the Lg. (65 cm.) ball by itself but the frame for the chair makes it so stable and comfortable and the height is still the same as w. the larger ball w/o frame. Delighted w. my purchase and would highly recommend this item to anyone who spends a lot of time at a computer or any other pursuit requiring you to sit for long periods.

Awesome for my fibromyalgia!

I saw this on Dr. Oz's show and ordered it immediately. I work at home in front of my computer all day, and this chair in just a few days has proven how much better it is than my old office chair (which wasn't cheap even though it wasn't top of the line). It's helping my posture, and because it doesn't have arms I'm not tempted to slump to one side or the other, which aggravates my shoulder pain. I have pain from fibromyalgia and I can already see this chair is going to be a huge help to jumpstart my fitness. I can't do heavy exercise or high-impact exercise, so this is just what I needed to help get me back into shape. I ordered it in plum and got an extra ball in sage. Depending on how much you inflate it it's height-adjustable to a certain extent. It's the perfect height for working at my dining room table and at my desk, but I think I inflated it a little too much the second time, when I added air to it. It's almost too high now but I'm going to wait a few days before I try tweaking it again. To get the plug out, I had to use two spoons to pry it out because I didn't want to puncture it and didn't have the strength in my fingers to get the plug out once it was inflated. Inflating it with the pump was easy for me, and I'm not overly strong.
