A comfortable seat

I needed a chair that would encourage good posture. This does the trick - and is comfortable too. Here I am, unconsciously doing posture exercises while at the computer - and feeling more relaxed than in any other task chair I've ever used.

A workout while I work

I bought this ball chair because I wanted to do more than just sit and slump in my seat (I have an 8-hour/day desk job). In the three weeks since I started using this chair, I have definitely noticed that my core has gotten stronger. But better than that, I don't slump. You can't slump in this chair. The only cons are if you are wearing an outfit that can be tough to sit in (like a tight pencil skirt), but I've done it. I work in a school of allied-health professions (like chiropractic and physical therapy) and the professors give it the thumbs up!

About those castors.....

I was hesitant about this chair because of the reviews of the poor casters. I'm not sure if those reviewers realized that there are locks on all 4 wheels to control the chair. When this happens (ie: doesn't roll well) check those! Chances are, your foot accidentally locked one up. And just one makes all the difference in its mobility. Other than that, I LOVE this chair. No more back pain, I feel so awake and refreshed through the day.

Alleviates Back Pain

I work from home and was experiencing severe pain in my upper back and neck at the end of each work day. I practice bikram yoga everyday, so I knew the pain was not a result of a weak back or pulled muscle. I was recommended the balance ball chair and I no longer experience back and neck pain and the level of the chair is so much more comfortable for my arms. I would highly recommend this chair and will never use a regular chair again.

I really like the chair. I don't have any pain from sitting at my desk anymore. The only problem is that I am 5' 4". The desk I have has a drop down keyboard tray so the chair fits perfectly. Anyone shorter or taller would have a hard time being ergonomically correct while typing and I hope I will always have a similar desk because the chair is not really adjustable.
