This chair is not really a chair.Very low to the ground. The benefits of sitting on a balance ball are gone, since your body does not have to balance it. ball exploded when I tried to reinflate.
A fellow employee bought this exact chair and I fell in love with it. So I ordered the exact same chair, model, color, etc. The chair itself, I absolutely love. However, her chair came with a foot pump. Mine came with a hand pump, that someone would have to have incredible arm strength to pump that size of a ball, but it also had a nozzle that does not fit in the hole of the ball. Needless to say I was not thrilled. So I had to borrow her foot pump. That should not have happened.
I would recommend this to a friend!

PROS: I LOVE IT!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I LOVE IT!!! I AM USUALLY TOO TIRED OR LAZY WHEN I GET HOME TO EXERCISE. SINCE I PURCHASED THE CHAIR I DO MY EXERCISES ON MY BREAKS AND DURING MY LUNCH HOUR. I REALLY FEEL LIKE I HAVE HAD A WORKOUT IF I JUST SIT ON THE CHAIR, SO IT MUST BE WORKING!!!! EVERYONE AT WORK WANTS ONE. CONS: I NEED ONE FOR HOME TOO. SHOULD HAVE BUY ONE, GET ONE FOR HALF OFF!!
I love the concept of the stability ball in the chair; however, it sits way too low for me to work comfortable at my desk. I ordered the extensions; however, it still sits a little low. It would be nice if the chair was somehow adjustable like a regular office chair.
It was easy to put together and is very space efficient. I would not say it was the most comfortable chair in the world, however I don't believe it was designed to be. I enjoy the balance chair for many reasons. It provides an easy opportunity to stretch my hips and hamstrings while behind the desk with out it becoming obvious to the others in the office. I also like it because it helps with my posture. I would recommend it to anyone, young or old.
The chair is started out pretty comfortable, but it has now aggravated my sciatic nerve so I'm going back to my regular task chair. Wish it had worked for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Balance Ball chair for 1 year and 3 days. Today it fully deflated. Upon inspection it appears that all along the area where the metal bar touches the balance ball the material of the ball is actually frayed away and this is where a hole developed. When I contacted customer service they apologized but because I was outside of the warranty period by 3 days they would not do anything and I would have to purchase a new ball. I have other balls that have lasted for over 5 years. This was obviously a defect and I am very disappointed in the lack of responsibility by this company.
I have had this chair at my office for almost a month now and I do find it has helped me with my posture and also has strengthened my core and back. I was disappointed with the extenders as I see other reviewers were as well. They are not enough for anyone approaching 6 feet tall. I could easily use twice the extension offered. Nonetheless, I continue to sit on the chair every day for the entire workday.
