I bought this chair and finally assembled it, but when I inflated the ball it was only about half the size it needed to be to fill the chair. In all the pictures the ball is much larger than the one I received, and I own another of these and it has a larger ball than this one has. I can't recommend a product that has such reckless QA problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My chair is less than an hour out of the box and I am loving it already. I've had back problems for the last 34 years, and with my new job, am working from home much more, so sitting in my old traditional chair was nearly torture. The Balance Ball Chair went together very easily (not something I had to wait for my husband to come home from work and put together) and I've already tried out a few of the exercises in the information book. I'm very happy to have received the bonus kit, as the corporate monster that bought my local gym ended up closing it, so I have no excuses not to move anymore. I'm at a stage in life where I realize that I have to care for my health more diligently, so aside from being a way of sparing my back, I'm looking forward to getting some good workouts in with the chair and resistance band.
Love it and when it broke I call to ask them if they sold parts because I was not ready to loose my great chair, the answere was no but I got a brand new chair, this is what awesome customer service is all about
I recently bought this chair. Once the ball was fully inflated, which took a day or so to completely expand, it fit well in the base. It's the right height for my 5'3" frame for my desk.
THE SPECS DO NOT TELL YOU ANYTHING USEFUL IN MAKING A DECISION REGARDING WHETHER OR NOT TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM. THIS PRODUCT IS FOR VERY SHORT PEOPLE OR CHILDREN, NOT NORMAL OR TALL ADULTS. THE SEAT HEIGHT IS TOO LOW. THE BACKREST IS UNCOMFORTABLE. IT IS HARD PLASTIC WITH NO PADDING. I AM 5'-8" TALL AND WEIGH 145# AND FOUND IT QUITE UNSTABLE TO MOVE AROUND ON. I AM NOT OVERWEIGHT! I HAVE NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS PRODUCT.
No I don't love it. In fact I am not even using it . I read the hype and thought that it might be exactly what I was looking for, for setting in front of the computer for extended periods of time. The truth is, it is not what I had hoped for and in reality it is qutie uncomfortable Sorry!
I bought this chair a couple of weeks ago because I had been using a regular exercise ball to sit on at work and wanted something similar but on wheels. It is slightly lower than the ball that I was comfortable with but it is the correct height for keyboard work (using a keyboard tray), I sit a little low for desk writing but overall I am happy with it. It does need to have air added every 3 days or so and I use an electric air pump, so I know that I am getting proper inflation. I do feel the core strengthening that I get from using it. Overall I would recommend it.
I am 5"8 and this chair has recommendations from people taller than I am so I thought it would be great. It's not! I have to tuck my legs behind me and am almost sitting on my knees. It's been a big waste of money. I have ordered the 72 balancing ball in the hopes that it will help. As it has not arrived I can't tell you if it will work. All I can say is if your legs are longer than your body - this is not the chair for you.
