I would highly recommend these chairs to anyone. I am back in school at 58 and lots of studying. My back and leg pain has disappeared after setting this chair up. Thank you for this design.

The chair is cool up until I set it up to my desk at the office where I now have it sitting without me in it. The chair is too short for using at an office and unfortunately, the description lead me to believe it could be used as such. Other than it being too short it's great, I am just not able to use it.

I absolutly LOVE this chair and get wonderful comments on it at work. I purchased this chair in March '11 and to date have had to call about the wheels. I have had them lock from just sitting in it! I have called and customer service replaced them everytime I needed new ones. I called today because a non-locking wheel broke again and Gaiam is out of wheels and is redoing its design of the chair! Of course this made me happy and sad...looking forward to the redesign but am desperatly needing wheels for my chair. My advice is to WAIT till the new chair comes out and hopefully they have fixed the issues!!!

Have enjoyed my chair for a week now. definite improvement on my lower back discomfort from my regular office chair. My pain has subsided I strongly believe from using this chair now that the pressure points have been eliminated. Love It!

This ball chair has been a game-changer for me. The setup was easy, directions easy to follow. The ball aired up very nicely and it was easy to let some air out to get my body into the correct position. It is a bit sticky but I put a towel over it and it works great. The locking wheels on the back work great, but I rarely use them and they haven't locked up on me at all. The back rest is great, but I rarely use it - the position of sitting on the ball is so comfortable and natural. AWESOME AWESOME CHAIR - ordering another one for my Mom right now!!

It seems to be ridiculously low, I am 5'8" and find it very low to use at a standard 29" high desk. I could find no reference of larger balls being available.

I've been using this chair for a couple of weeks now, the 1st week I had some lower back pain but I also didn't realize you were supposed to "ease" into it for a few hours at a time. After the 1st week, I've been able to sit on it all day without any pain (8 hours/day). I now notice when I'm sitting in my car or at the dinner table how much more I "slump" compared then how I sit on my Balance Ball Chair at work. I am a 5'11 female & although it's a good height for my desk I feel like my legs are too long for it, I may consider purchasing the extenders in the near future to see if it makes my leg position any more comfortable. Very easy to put together & love the fun green color!
