I was worried that the "chair" would be too stable and I wouldn't feel the benefit of the constant balancing on the ball, but I Do Feel It! The chair just makes it easier to control. and I love being able to move around my sewing room. I have replaced my office chair and my sewing stool with this chair! Love it and already convinced my sister to order hers!
Pros: ability to move around room

I'm laughing at the review that says it's too short..errhmm blow the ball up more! Before I had this chair I would just use a ball on the floor but my kids kept rolling it out in the yard and popping it on a cactus..this slows them down a bit and designates it as a chair and not a toy. I've had to replace the ball several times (thank you cats) but the replacements are always of high quality and it's let me change out the color, fun! Best thing that ever happened to my work day.. thanks!

We use our chairs 9-10 hours a day 5 days a week in our busy dental practice. We have had our back pain decreased. However, we have had several rods break. We have had them replaced and those broke as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Becoming very disappointed with customer care

I have had several of these chairs over many years and have always had issues with the metal band that is across the chair. I have broken several and have had to purchase a few and have had a few replaced kindly by customer care. My most recent replacement in December 2017 came with a new adapter/ reinforcement that seemed to be a good addition and would stop the breaking of this part. I put the new part and the adapters on and within 6 months it has ruined my chair. After contacting customer care they tried to tell me it was my fault, accused me of an under inflated ball (not the case) have refused to do anything for me. This is a weak link in the design of this chair, all of us users know that. The problem is with the new adapters, that ultimately ruined the chair. Looking for a better replacement now!
Pros: attractive, light, makes me feel good
Cons: broken metal bands, over and over
