I've used this chair at my office desk for over 2 years and I love it! My only complaint is that there aren't more ball cover options. The crushed velvet is not very attractive and looks dated. I hoped I would come to this site to find more covers but sadly there have been no updated products. A cover really is necessary because sitting on a rubber ball gets uncomfortably sweaty. Please, Gaiam, add more covers in more modern fabrics!

The chair sits way too high, my feet are just touching the ground with legs barely bent, and I am 5'7". When the ball is blown up according to the height in the instructions, it barely fits in the chair structure. Also, the air pump... totally broken, they had to send me a replacement. As it stands now, I just use the ball to sit on at work. The chair structure - I try to use when I don't have to use my keyboard/ mouse and am just reading from the computer screen. Otherwise it is quite uncomfortable. And even when I do use it, I had to remove the metal bar and the objects that screw the back into place. The ball won't fit into the structure otherwise, without jamming it in so it looks like a malformed egg. I'm disappointed, but at least the ball works.

I bought this chair at seven months pregnant to use in my office. I work long days and ridiculous hours, and thought the chair would help me maintain posture and work on core strength. I was right--the chair is awesome. It's super comfortable, and really unique, and it is perfect for my pregnancy. Within two days, a co-worker with knee problems had ordered the same chair for his office. I guess I started a trend at work!

Re: BLACK CHAIR and BRIGHT BLUE BALL • I originally was looking into purchasing the Children's Ball Chair for my child with Sensory Issues. • Since my questions went unanswered, I decided to purchase the Adult Ball Chair. • I was looking into various other Brands of Ball Chairs. • I went with a Brand that I have used before and familiar with having been in the Fitness Industry.
