Great for my sciatica

I find the ball chair to be super comfortable and it provides relief to my sciatica pain down one leg, probably because there are no seat edges, just a soft curve. I'm 5'6" and chair height was fine with a 30" high desk, surprisingly, I don't miss having arm rests. I'd give 5 stars but after only 2 months, I have to buy a new ball because the original keeps going flat from an undetectable air leak.

I use this BB Chair in my kitchen - it's great when you're getting up and down alot. Maybe not good for long periods of sitting.

I have tried lots of office chairs and I have finally found the right one for me. There is a learning curve - don't lean back and keep both feet flat on the floor. I still haven't figured out how to not lock the wheels....I have to bend down to unlock them several times a day......still I love this chair

I have had a ball chair for the last 3 years at work and it is great! I am am outdoorsy person and hate to sit for hours on end but when I have to I will only use this chair. It forces you to sit up straight and really improves your balance.
Pros: improves balance
Cons: occassional wheel lock issues

I sit at a desk at work most of the day and could never get comfortable. I tried almost every chair in our building, trying to find one that did not make my back hurt by the end of the day. I was skeptical that an inexpensive rubber ball and plastic "chair" could be comfortable, but after using it for one day I felt immediate relief. This chair is amazing. I love everything about my ball chair. The only "negative" is that when I fart, the sound bounces off the rubber and makes a loud slapping sound, and I worry that everyone in my office can hear it. It doesn't sound like a typical fart, though, so everyone probably wonders what I am up to in here.

The "anti-burst" ball blew a hole in it, and right after that, the metal bar that goes across the front broke - it didn't come out of the hole, the actual metal broke at the attachment point. This chair has only been used to sit in at a desk, there wasn't even any of their suggested exercises done on it. To their credit, they sent out a new metal bar, along with a new ball. The new ball had the exact same hole that my original developed on arrival, and it was a new ball. They sent out a third ball, which was torn at the point where you fill it with air. For the amount of money, the quality is just plain not there. I gave 3 stars, because as a desk chair, when it is in working condition, I like it. So the price needs to come down, or the quality needs to go up in this item. I'd prefer to see the quality improve.

This chair lets me sit up straight, similar to the kneeling chair but with more mobility. It's an excellent task chair. I've had no trouble with it rolling and rarely need to add air. I've been using it for over a year and love it. It has a bouncy quality that helps me feel less tired. Perhaps the one and only unusual aspect, is if you're wearing shorts the ball will be stuck to your skin when you stand up. My kids find this hilarious.
