So, people in my office wanted to try this chair. They love it, but it doesn't hold its air very well and needs to get repumped every now and then. The ball will stretch, eventually looking less like a ball, until you repump. They love it, but have only used it for a month. Definitely recommend trying it.

Good for short periods

For short periods of time it is comfortable, but I do not recommend if you sit all day. This chair is way too short and requires the leg extenders - should be included with purchase!

The balance ball chair is a great idea but I think it would be much better if the air valve sealed like a basketball or a football. Maybe th design is to make sure one doesn't over inflate the product. As a senior citizen though, putting the pin in when using the large pump is awkward at best. Please consider a self-sealing valve for future production units. Thanks for listening to my comments. BTW I'm almost 75 yrs old (male) Change the valve an I will rate it "10"

Good to sit on, but too low for a short person

I'm only about 5'2"" which is the low end of the range of height that they say is good for the chair so I can't use it at my desk. If I were taller I would use it more frequently at work. I ordered the 2" leg extenders and hopefully that will help. The balance disc has been a big help on my office chair as an alternative.

I bought this chair last week and the transition from my old office chair to this comfortable balance ball chair was very easy! I don't slouch anymore and I feel more awake. It's a bit pricey but It was definitely worth it in the long run. It's the best chair for the office, especially when you are sitting for a majority of the work day.

Great chair with the correct ball

I have purchased two of these chairs for myself and a company that I worked for purchased 10 more for people to try out. I personally purchased a third chair and decided to get a different color ball. I have always had the standard charcoal ball but this time I purchased a blue ball. The blue ball was more like the larger/softer exercise ball in my work out room and did not work for me in this chair. It is much larger than the charcoal ball and I feel unsafe on it. In my opinion the blue ball does not fit the base. I was also quite surprised to essentially get a 'different' product than I have received in the past by simply choosing a different color ball. The charcoal ball is smaller and firmer, when I scoot forward the ball does not roll out of the base. The blue ball was larger and softer, the fit in regards to the back rest and the way it sits in the base was not comfortable for me. When I scoot forward the ball rolls nearly rolls out of the base. If you want the larger/softer ball I would suggest buying the alternate chair base. I have tried the larger ball in that other base and it seemed like a good fit. I am swapping out the ball and once the hassle of the reship and return is over I am sure I will be just as happy with this chair as I am with he others that I own. I have not had any quality issues with the chair and charcoal ball. I own multiple and have had them for years.
