I purchased the balance ball chair system to help with weight loss but it's a gem in many ways. I'm on the computer a lot lately and sitting in the ball-chair helps both my posture as well as working the butt and thigh muscles. The purchase was a birthday splurge but I wouldn't consider it splurge now, rather an easy and wonderfully useful tool for weight loss, strengthening muscles and improving posture. Thanks Gaiam for such a great product!

This chair is phenomenal! What better way to get a work out at the office by sitting on your butt. We've ordered several for my coworkers and there is size difference in the charcoal compared to all the other colors. The charcoal is bigger even though they are all 55.

I work in a building full of men; just 5 women, here! You KNOW they all had to come check out my purple balanceball chair, once ONE heard about/saw it. They all asked to sit on it! I bought this chair because I have one at home, that I bought few years ago, when gray was the only option. I used to work standing, all day. Now, I sit. I hated what it was doing to my posture and my abs/core! PLUS, the ergonomic chair I was provided made my back hurt! (I'm not the average-sized person it's geared towards) Now, my back doesn't hurt; I don't get the mid-afternoon sleepiness; I have more energy, all-around. And, I can bounce in my seat! HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT???

I ordered the balance ball chair because I wanted to work on my posture and core throughout the day. It forces me to sit up straight and tighten my core muscles while sitting at my desk. I have noticed I no longer experience lower back pain later in the day. Overall I really like this product. It gave me everything I was looking for in an office chair.
