Had no expectations at all. Just wanted to try it at my office as I sit about fours hours a day at work. I did not really notice anything different the first couple of days, then I realized I was sitting up straigter anywhere I sat. Be it at home or the office or in any kind of chair. That is a very good thing.

This balance ball chair has strengthened my back muscles such that I sleep more comfortably. I also have used the ball out of the chair for other muscle toning exercises. I broke my tail bone years ago and it often bothers me in my job, where I am sitting most of the day at the computer. The balance ball chair has significantly improved my symptoms.

Only negative concerns the wheel locks which continually automatically lock. I keep having to unlock them. Otherwise the chair is great! Use in my office all day.
I love the comfort of this chair. I wish it came with better instructions and an easier to use pump to fill up the ball but otherwise extremely happy with the chair!

I was so excited to get this in the mail! I couldn't wait to have this chair assist me with having better posture. I am 5'8'' and 140lbs. The ball is tiny. It is not the size shown in the pictures AT ALL. I think the diameter is supposed to be about 21''- and it is actually about 16''. It looks a little silly because the whole chair is small- but that doesn't bother me. What DOES bother me is that each picture and video shows a MUCH larger excersize ball. I have owned excersize balls before, and i noticed when i pumped this one up that it was exceptionally small. I used my bike pump to get the most air possible in the ball. It is definitely pumped up all the way. The holding bar has no need to be there because the ball doesn't even touch it. The backing doesn't touch the ball either. The bottom holds the ball in place just fine, it doesn't sink into the hole. In the picture i provided, you can see this is the ball you REALLY get. This ball i received is NOT the one they used in the pictures and videos. I would be happy to keep the chair if i received the advertised product. I read other reviews that say this as well.
