This is a great addition to your home gym. Easy to put together, it's great for posture, relieving pressure from an occasional aggravated sciatic nerve, stretching exercises, and comfortable for just plain sitting.

wheel locks

Dayona, I have the same problem with the wheels locking, because I tend to sit with my feet towards the back and hit the locks. The only solution I found was to try to remember to keep my feet in front. Also, that ball can be a bit cold on the rear, but I usually put a towel or something on it.
Pros: great for proper sitting
Cons: the ball can be a bit cold on my rear.

I am very happy with this chair. It fits in the rather small space provided by my office/guest room and allows me to rotate and roll as needed to reach my file drawers. I had to play a bit with the ball pressure for comfort and to reach an acceptable height. Now, it works just fine for my needs!

Like many other reviewers for this item, I purchased this chair because I sit at a desk for up to 5 hrs a day. I decided to give the balance ball chair a try since the majority of the reviews were glowing...and they were right! I have been using the chair for two weeks now, and I have found that my posture, spine alignment, and back comfort have greatly improved. The only negative aspect of the chair (for me personally) is the locking wheels. I find that I am constantly tapping the locks with my foot and locking the chair on accident...but I'll learn to live with it. I ordered the chair in sage and the color of the ball is a little more vibrant in person than how it appeared on my monitor-the color is lovely regardless. Also, I work in a fancy office building (think leather and dark-stained wood) and my chair's plastic frame is a little out of place but I don't care because I LOVE THIS CHAIR! Hopefully, I can convert some stuffy business men and women into realizing that this chair is wonderful.
