Sitting on a balance ball has really helped me continue to work through a recent back injury, but I found the ball rolled away from me and I had to brace myself with my leg. The Balance Ball Chair solves that problem with its 4 wheeled rim that keeps you firmly in place unless you want to move. The wheels roll smoothly, that ball is nice and firm to sit on, and it looks more like a chair than a piece of gym equipment. It's nice and light for easy movement. The pump worked really well. And after a week of solid use, I'm very pleased! The only problem I found was a temptation to lean back on the back support, which put my back in a bad position. One other issue is with height. I'm 5'7" and it was a bit low, causing my knees to be above my hips - not good for the lower back. I solved it by removing the support bar and placing an old yoga mat between the ball and the base. This gives about 3 more inches in height and it works just fine. I highly recommend this chair, if you're looking for a way to sit in comfort and work your core at the same time.

so comfortable & great for prolonged periods of sitting...somehow the design of the wheels is flawed.. the protruding lock tabs very easily get pushed to lock position..(just when you need to roll) constantly correcting that..but I do not place my feet on them..don't know how it keeps happening! LOVE my chair..you will too!
I gave this chair as a gift to a teenaged boy with autism. He has had other therapy chairs but not one with back support. His mother said he was excited to receive it and uses it often.

I use this daily as my office chair. I have horrible posture, which has been improving since this bad boy. You can't see them, but they also come with resistance bands, so when I need to take a step back from the computer, I can work on my upper body strength as well. I sit up taller, I move around a lot more, and if you buy one of these, they send you information on how to use the chair and the removable balance ball for an entire workout. Now I literally have no excuse not to workout at the office. I love my office chair and it is extremely comfortable for someone of my height (5'7").

The chair was easy to assemble and the hand pump is useful. However, it works best when I am mindful of my posture and actively working on the computer. Sitting on the ball incorrectly resultd in straining my lower back above one hip, so I use my office chair when watching movies or doing something I know I will not be mindfuk of my posture for extended periods of time.

I was recommended this product by my massage therapist. I love it. It's helping strengthen my core. The wheels are nice & smooth on my newly finished floor. I use it at the computer & at the dining table(not formal, silly) I also use it at my sewing machine. The best part is- it's plum.
