No more back pain

I have two of these chairs: one for my home office and one for work. After using them a very short time, my constant lower back pain was GONE! They are very easy to set up and much cheaper than standard office chairs. One tip: to avoid accidentally locking the wheels, put the locking wheels on the back of the chair.

I purchased 2 one for myself and one for a coworker. The bar that holds the ball in broke, called Gaiami and they replaced it, but now the other bar has broken. I question if this is a design flaw.?

I have a very expensive ergonomic chair at work. After hurting my hip last fall, the work chair made the hip injury worse. I used a co-workers ball chair and my hip no longer hurt after sitting. After a few weeks, I went ahead and ordered my own so my co-worker could have hers back. I love it!

Relief for a tight neck

I've had my original ball chair for more than 2 years now. I absolutely love it. I don't think it does much for my already terrible posture, but you are constantly shifting your weight on it. It's natural, you don't even have to think about it. My back is a lot looser than it ever was in a standard office chair... and I tried quite a few. I was fighting terrible tension headaches all the time. Since switching to this chair, I very rarely get them at work anymore. It's been such a blessing! The only complaint I have is that my heels hit the breaks on the wheels every so often... locking up the wheel. It doesn't make me fall off or anything. It's just loud when the wheel scoots instead of rolls on my office mat.

At my job I sit all day. I have two different desks and I am at one or the other every day. I replaced one chair with the Balance Ball Chair, and here's what I noticed. My general lower back ache is no more. I am a wiggler. I could not sit still if my life depended on it. Now instead of shaking my foot (which also shakes our floor and everybody around me), I bounce. My coworker also has one and loves it. My mother-in-law stopped in the other day and tried one. She called me the next day and asked me about it. Should be ordering hers soon. It is so much lighter than my chair that I was afraid I was going to throw it through the window behind my desk. My only complaint, and the reason for only 4 stars, is the back wheels tend to lock on their own. One minute they roll, the next one is locked. I have to unlock one or the other a couple times a day. I recommend everyone get one. They are very affordable, comfortable, and fun! I think this would be a great idea for elementary schools. This can keep the kids engaged because they won't fidget out of boredom or restlessness

I rec'd this item today and had a very difficult time getting the ball inflated because the pump tip would not fit into it. I did finally get it done. This chair is very short for a standard office desk. I want to buy the extenders but they are backordered for over a month so I can't really use it. When I have the energy to fool with it again, I will try inflating the ball more to see if I can make it work. A bit frustrated with this product then to top it off, I see if I had waited a couple of days I could have gotten it for 25% off the price! Timing is everything I guess. I would recommend you buy this in a store where you can try it out first.

Not a good bargain for me

I bought this chair to help me further develop my abs, but it hurt my low back after about 20 minutes. I thought it was me, so my friend (who has strong abs!) sat on it for a while and it hurt her lumbar also. It was a huge disappointment for me. The chair now sits in the corner of a room.
