Love the chair but it doesn't hold up.

I have used a balance ball for a chair for several years and decided to buy the chair for more convenience and hoped it would take up less space than the larger ball. I loved the chair but the back broke off after just a few months but still used it without the back which is not useful anyway. Because the wheels would self lock it put too much pressure on the legs and one buckled and broke off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had my chair put together 5 minutes after it arrived. I only struggled with the back of the chair. One side was difficult to screw in leaving it slightly loose. I don't use the back anyway. My posture was instantly corrected and my back feels wonderful. The chair makes you want to flex your glutes and pull your mid section in. I actually felt like I had a little mini workout when I got home from work. I am very impressed!

I've been sitting on this chair for 8 hours a day and absolutely love it! It reminds me to sit up taller and keeps slouching at a minimum. It also keeps my desire to get out of the chair at bay longer than a standard chair. I am 6'1" and got the chair extenders, works great for my height. The packaging came beat-up but chair and ball was not damaged.

I ordered this chair out of desperation due to chronic back pain. I sit ALL day, and for the first time since I can remember I sit virtually pain-free now. The transition was a little difficult, but well worth it. I also noticed a difference in my core strength during yoga. I have used this chair for years, and will never go back to a regular one!

I'm sitting on it right now. I haven't used it for exercise, but I use it as my computer chair. My back doesn't get as tired and I sit up straight. Since I'm at the computer for hours out of the day, I think this is as good as it gets for sitting! Much less damaging and I do bounce a little -- nice diversion!

I bought this to replace a standard "manager's chair" that was making my low back ache every day. This was easy to set up and has eliminated my back pain. I did buy the risers - without them this chair was too low for my desk. The ball needs to be pumped up a bit every week or so, but in the grand scheme of things that seems worthwhile to me.

As a teacher, I don't sit all day, but when I do, I need to concentrate. My desk chair left my back achy. I'd had back surgery, and it worried me. So, when I saw the balance ball chair, it seemed like a great idea. After all, my physical therapist had used a balance ball to help me recover after surgery, and I knew lots of exercises to use with it already. It's been great! I've used it over a year now, and I'm going to buy another one to use at home. My back doesn't hurt, even after a long session of grading! The only problem is keeping my students off of it! I bought them a half dozen balls to sit on, but they can't have my chair!

This chair strengthened my back and my abs. I have to sit at a desk for 9-10 hours a day and I have better posture and body awareness. I don't have anymore back and shoulder/neck pain and it really does help by balance. I love it. I don't like sitting in "regular" chairs now. This was the best money I ever spent!
