I read the other reviews as to how well it does it's job in terms of posture and exercise...and I made my decision based on it's functionality as well... and I am very happy with having an office chair that is so useful in what it delivers...But I am really writing this review to add my 2cents about HOW BEAUTIFUL I THINK THE CHAIR IS~~~! It's such a lovely and unique object I find it inspiring as well...everything about it...good design brings intelligence and aesthetics together in such a delightful way...and is an extra bonus with this chair...I'm very happy...and bouncing as I write... :)~

This helped correct my posture at the computer desk, which was my goal. The kids really like it and I often have to go get it at their computer desk. The ball is cold to sit on in winter, so I put a small blanket over it.

I've used a balance ball for years to exercise but never thought about a Balance Ball Chair. Awesome! Not only is the Balance Ball Chair really comfortable, but I absolutely love the fact that I can take short, but frequent breaks and get in some exercise and stretching without going too far from my work space. After using the Balance Ball Chair for a few weeks, I feel like I'm definitely sitting up straighter while working and when not sitting at my desk as well.

I think the wheels could be a little sturdier, or at least roll better, especially since I have a chair matt over the carpet. I guess it does the job that I want it to - make my body support itself more than my office chair does. I have only used it 2 days now, but I do believe that my hips feel a little better (can't tell because my butt was a little sore yesterday from sitting on the ball...).

If you use the metal wire in front of the chair to slide it (while getting up off the chair to move it) and sit back down before you have moved your fingers, be careful! ...your fingers may get squeezed between the ball and wire. The chair is a bit low, however, it may be possible to purchase wheels with a longer insert???

Realizing that, as a first year law student, I spend a good ten hours a day in my chair I decided to do my body a favor and invest in this chair. This is probably one of the wisest decisions I have ever made. From eight-hour take home finals, to twelve-hour study marathons, to chair-raving to trance electronica: this chair can take it all and give love & peace back.
