I bought this chair because I sit at a computer all day and it aggravated a hip injury, causing sciatic pain. When sitting on the ball chair my pain is minimal. It also forces me to use my core muscles to balance, plus it's fun to bounce on :) The chair is pricy but well made and should last a long time. One safety note: don't sit too far forward on the ball or it may slip!

Exercise balls are one of my favorite posture correcting chairs, so I was super excited to find one in a frame on wheels. It was super easy to put together, and my back and neck pain disappeared in the first couple days. However, I do have problems with the height of the chair and the desk I use. If I fill the ball so I can sit on it correctly, it's to short to comfortably reach my mouse and drawing tablet. If I fill it so I can comfortably reach my desk, my behind gets sore from the way I balance on the ball. You may want to think about your height verses your desks height if you are shorter. I do however recommend this chair.
I'm a medical transcriptionist, so I sit and type all day. Since I started using the balance ball chair (about 3 weeks now) my lower back pain and problems have really improved. I still have to do morning stretches, though. It's not going to be a cure-all. The casters are a bit stiff and quite hard on the carpet, so I recommend putting a small area rug under it. The back rest design is not good, it sits too far back.. I've had to tie a pillow to it, but it's rather comfy this way. Overall, I do recommend it. It's a better ergonomic fit for me than any of the office chairs of comparable price that I've tried over the years. Also, mine is purple, how cool is that!

I purchased this ball and use it daily at work. My goal is to strengthen my core stabilizers for golf and other sports. It has helped improve my posture and it is working on my core. One thing that I noticed is I will have to build in a regular stretching program. This is something that I would highly recommend to all that buy the Chair system.
I bought this chair for work about 2 1/2 months ago since I was having lower back and shoulder issues. Let me just say I " I Love It". I no longer have tingling in my shoulders and my lower back feels amazing. I work at a computer 9-10 hours a day so this has made a huge difference. I love that I am working my core all day. The true test was when I did some heavy yard work with shoveling rock for landscaping and usually my lower back will pay the price the next morning. I woke up with no lower back pain or stiff and sore. I would recommend this to everyone!!
