I discovered this chair while working at another company, so when I got my new job, I knew exactly what chair I wanted to order. Never having purchased a new one before, I was not aware that the ball needs time to expand to its actual size. One of the things that I like most about the chair is that I sit up a little higher and it helps me maintain the correct elbow to hand height ratio for me when typing on my keyboard. I believe it also helps with posture. And in comparison to what some ergonomic chairs can go for, this chair is definitely a deal!

This is the second ball chair I've owned. It has kept me from having any back issues ever since owning one. I recommend it to everyone...and most everyone says it's too weird looking. Yeah, well, you look pretty weird hunched over with back pain too. This is far better. Also, Gaim's service is amazing. The packaging did not have the plug to keep the air in the ball (or so I thought...I found it later). I called and the person on the phone said it would take 10-14 days to send me a new one (which they were happy to do). About two days later, I got it in the mail...express. Kathy, I think, had sensed my disappointment in it taking so long (for something the size of a thumbtack) so, she personally found one, packed it up and sent it express with a handwritten note. THAT is customer service!!

I bought this chair for one of my employees who sits on a regular balance ball at her desk at home. She needed to be able to move around at work and this proved to be the perfect solution for her. Now all my employees want one of their own. They have been trying hers out and love it. It's a wonderful perk for any great employee and not much more expensive than a regular office chair.

I sit at a computer all day at home and find this chair to be very helpful for my lumbar spine. Height adjustment would be helpful for this use, however.

The chair definitely helps you to sit up straight, and if you have caught yourself nodding off, this will definitely stop that behavior. The hardness of the ball does make your butt hurt by the end of the day.
