I have a bad back, so sitting at a desk all day doesn't work for my body. Standing all day eventually takes its toll on my back, as well. This chair is PERFECT for allowing me time to stand at work, and when I sit, sitting straight. The height is perfect for a standing desk, and the ball is the correct level of bounce for me. Purchasing this chair made my work week so much more comfortable.
I absolutely loved this stool for my stand up desk at work. I try to stand most of the day, but this gives my feet a nice break especially when I wear shoes without support. I do notice my slouching far more with this seat, so the ball has helped me be more mindful of my posture and I do think that it has improved since having this chair. Unfortunately, I was so ecstatic about the chair that after putting it together I threw away the box and all documentation, but after about three weeks the ball portion of my chair seems to have a hole in it. I have to inflate that ball portion twice a day if not more which sort of defeats the purpose. I will keep the chair for now since it cost quite a pretty penny, but I am disappointed that it has a leak already.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a standing desk at work, which I love, but sometimes you need to sit down, whether to give your body a break or to focus. The High-Rise Stool is perfect for that! I love sitting up high, but still having small movements in my seat. I also feel like the dome top helps to keep my posture in line, and if I do slouch its much more noticeable, and I fix it more quickly than in a normal chair.
overpriced, cheaply made, not as pictured, DO NOT BUY

- Not comfortable, not at ALL like sitting on an exercise ball - PHOTO IS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE AT ALL > I think someone must have photoshopped half an exercise ball on top of the base. It inflates to about 1/3 of that size and if you inflate it that much you can't really sit atop of it. - So cheaply made - Assembling is not straightforward, it's as if you stack the pieces and hope it works, instead of putting them together easily
I use this stool at work. It is pretty great for the most part. Although I am still experimenting with the firmness of the seat, I like it quite a bit. I would change the foot rest though. It is wobbly and doesnt fit the stand well but seems stable enough that I am hoping I dont break it.
Super comfortable and definitely helps with posture. I have terrible posture and am always slouching forward/over at my desk. I recently purchased a desk that can be raised and lowered and this chair works perfect with it! I can raise it as high as I want or sit low if preferred when I'm not standing. I also purchased the Gaiam balance board for active standing that I haven't tried yet because I love the chair so much!
