This is a Overall a great product glass cylinder made well and base is heavy and stable. we like having a larger option than the first model. We use the water every day for drinking, coffee, Ice, and pets so the 2.5 gallons does well. We replace the spigit with a Stainless steel version. The ONLY design flaw that the engineers must address is there is no AIR vent/gap between the water reservoir and so when you go to draw water the spigit the air is drawn and creates a vacuum and significantly slows the water pressure coming out. So all we did is place a simple FLAT plastic drink stir stick between the lid and white plastic reservoir and this creates enough of a air vent that allow water to flow well and not trickle .

Tilting the unit to slicker helps to drain lower& quicker. Also seal around washers.

Amazing Quality materials with Extra-Large 40 cup dispenser and plenty of filtered water on reserve. Only cheap part on this Beautiful dispenser is a Plastic coated spigot which is covered by the manufacture warranty.

Absolutely wonderful thing to have and love the water it produces. The only criticism and the reason I took down one star was because the seal on the spicket leaks. It seems that drilling the glass container from both directions didn't quite match up leaving a ridge. This must not sit very well with the silicone gaskets. We reverse the gaskets to their backwards position and it finally sealed. But other than that it's an awesome product.

I love Zero water filters and have their other units. However, the seal around the spicket for this one does not work well and leaks. Also, the spicket is so high up, you cannot fully empty the unit to start with a fresh batch of water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
