My sister has one of these setting on her kitchen counter. I've used it everytime I visited. Now I finally have my own. I especially love the meter that comes with it. No wondering/guessing!

This is a great water filter as it does what it is claimed, filters out TDS for a pure clean tasting water. I live in Arizona where the water is very hard with a TDS out of the tap of between 350 - 400. Water out of the filter has a TDS reading of 000 and is a pleasure to drink.

It looks amazing and holds a ton of water. The problem is you can't access all that water as the dispenser is set so high up on the glass container that you can never reach the lower water. There's literally more than a 1/4 of the water held in the container that you can't access. You can't tip it to reach or you'll spill it all over plus it's heavy because it's glass. So it's not really 40 cups of water, it's more like 40 cups 'held' but you can only have 27 or so cups to drink. Weird.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is best to fill the container anytime it is less than half full, that way you will never have to worry about the water that sits below the spigot

Once the filter life is reducing the taste of water becomes so weird and undrinkable, which i do not see with other filter why such a gap.

Due to the size of glass dispenser (2.5 gallons), once the filter reaches the 006ppm mark if the filter is not changed right away you can far exceed the exhaustion point of the filter very easily. It is important to test the filtered frequently and change the filter as soon as it reaches the 006ppm mark.

Had to replace original 2 filter water dispenser after the nozel broke. I wish I could have just replaced the nozel. Pro's- Looks nice, smaller footprint, 1 filter. Cons- the base slides all over the place, gaskets are too soft and allow water to leak, nozel control is a push to side to open instead up flip up or down to open...cannot pour water with one hand and hold cup with the other. I use large cups with ice and its a pain. Stainless parts dont clean easy. Overall love the filter, love the look, quality and ease of use are unaceptable.
