I bought this for my s9, which I've had since release day. The case has kept it crack-free through countless drops. the case is also lightweight and looks pretty nice as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good idea but cheap plastic kickstand that breaks

The kick stand is a great idea and I used it a lot. However, it just clips on the main case and occasionally flips off. It is easy to clip it back on, but the plastic clips are thin and it eventually broke in less than a year. Samsung will not send me just the clip. I have to send the whole case in and wait 2-3 weeks before they send me a new one. I do not want to leave my phone unprotected that long. I asked if I could just buy a new clip since they would not just send me a replacement clip. Samsung will not do that. I would have to buy a complete new case. Although I love the standing case, I will not buy another one just to have it eventually break again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received my pre-ordered S9 plus today. I had purchased a case online from a popular brand and it turned out to be worthless. IIt didn't fit quite right and was loose and hinky feeling. I decided to get the Samsung, rugged protective cover and I'm glad I did. What a great case. Perfect fit, heavy duty, beautiful design. The kickstand is a nice feature I really never thought about, but especially with the larger S9 plus, I think it will come in handy. The case feels great in your hand, has a solid grip and seems strong enough to protect the phone in case of a drop, yet still slim and easy to handle. Money well spent! Highly recommend.

The case is supposed to "Help defend your new Galaxy S9 against damage caused by drops and falls." I'm wondering now what kind of damage this case is actually protecting. I'm looking at the case closely, and the S9 screen still protrudes out, so I don't think the case was ever intended to minimize the screen cracking.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Love the Rugged Protective Cover

i had it for 7 months now and love it. i have droped my phone a couple times and it protected it including the screen. It looks just like the picture. the kickstand on the back is a little thin and just pops on and off but besides that i would be buy it again.

i bought this for my 9s it felt like it was really rugged however, the kickstand in the back cat falling off and now it's just broke. i do not recommend
