amazing sound

I have the klipsch reference theater 5.1 speaker surround sound system and klipsch sub and being powered by my yamaha TSR 700 receiver these are the most amazing sounding speakers they are loud and maintain crystal clear sound at any volume level and just to give an idea of exactly how amazing these speakers are for music or watching movies i was listing to music with the volume turned up pretty loud at about half the max volume my surround sound system is set up in my bedroom with the speakers wall mounted in your standard surround sound speaker placement there is only a 12 ft wide space from side to side and i was sitting listing to music jamming out to the cars and i blew out my left eardrum which from what my Dr said its not very common to have loud music cause an eardrum to rupture so with that said i would rate these speakers as absolute best on the market for a home theater system the only sound system that would rival these speakers would be a sound system used for concerts i will never buy another brand of speakers ever klipsch has a customer for life i have owned many brands of speakers over the past 29 years from bose to pioneer and kenwood all the big names they all claim to have to best sounding speakers and none of them come even close to my Klipsch speakers and these are not the tower surround sound speakers either they are not much bigger then a computer monitor size speaker and most people think size matters with the sound quality bigger = better thats not the case with these speakers small size = big in sound at any volume level they really are amazing sounding speakers so if your reading reviews trying to decide what speakers you will buy i say look no further they are worth the price hands down i would recommend more distance between each side then 12 foot wide space just to preserve your eardrums.

These are NOT wireless speakers!

We just moved in to our new house and I’m finally getting my home theater set up. These are NOT wireless speakers! Each speaker needs to be wired to a separately-purchased amplifier. There is no power input on the speakers to set them on the side of the room without running wires along the floor or ceiling. In my open room, I can’t use these without laying a throw rug across the floor alongside the sofa.
I have no idea of the quality of sound because they’re not usable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy way to impress

I bought these 2 years ago to pair with a Sony DTS590 5.2 Receiver for a smaller living area. In short, you can't beat them. Accurate sound reproduction, solid construction and that the grilles off for a touch of class. I always get questions and compliments about my setup.

Great starter system

Some of the cleanest sound I've ever heard before. Great for my 5.1.2 in a 14'deep and 11'6" wide room. I also used r-51m for my mains which allowed me to use the two extra satellites for atmos speakers

Subwoofer problem

I bought this nearly two months ago and the subwoofer has problems right out of the box.
I doesn't work unless you give it a hard tap then it cuts out

Is incredibly perfect, add 2 more 7.1 is ridiculous 5 stars, the sub is absolutely beyond, what an 7in should sound, it's better than the 10in sub with my Cinema 700, wayyyyyy better
