Very loud and chef connect doesnt work

I purchased this hood a few weeks ago since I was renovating my kitchen together with the GE café electric cooktop. I got the chef connect option just to be able to connect it to my cooktop but after installation, I noticed the chef connect does not pair with my cooktop, and it is extremely noisy, it just looks decent and the LED lighting is good but the sound in shift connect which doesn’t work is extremely upsetting and disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The chef connect feature allows you to synchronize the range with the hood's vent fan and light. To connect the vent hood and range please follow the steps listed at the article link attached below:

Noisiest Fan Ever

This fan was good for first 3 days. Now it is very noisy. Also the house smells of food regardless of what is being cooked. There is nothing much anyone can do about it cause this is how it operates.

Hi level is too noise

When I receive product, it have the gap in front of the hood.The protect of the hood is not even.The guy who install the hood for my say it have the gap but it is still work so you can call for company to get the discount. I already installed it for using even it is not good for condition of the hood.

manufacturing defect allows air in through vent

Our range hood is leaking air via the vent for the recirculation feature. We are vented to the outside, so one of the internal plastic pieces is supposed to close off the recirculation vent, but there is a gap and we are getting cold air coming into the house from this spot.

I bought my GE side by side Refrigerator 25 years ago. Still going strong. Never had a single problem out of any of my GE appliances and this has been no different!!! Always buy GE!
