As far as pieces of plastic go, this one is also plastic. The paint on the corners chipped away faster than one would expect. Nothing special, but it does cover the phone (as advertised).

I bought this about two weeks ago for my husbands phone. He is incredibly careful with it and even so, the back is covered in scratches. He is looking for a new a case already because it no longer looks nice.
