[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this drive to upgrade my laptop from its original 5400rpm drive. The difference in processing and data transfer speeds is blinding. I can reliably move large files at 500mbs to 1.1gbs now. It's like having a brand new computer again. I'm happy with my system and now I don't feel the need to drop more money on a new one. It was worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kingston solid state drive is the perfect solution to make your notebook load faster. It's easy to install and progress is immediately after the installation. The 120gb has enough capacity to storage and perform ten times faster than a normal would do. I totally reccomend to upgrade to this a400 , it's a really good investment that make your work easy and fast, and the best thing is that is compatible with most computer brands. This kingston product is trustable, efficient and rich in technology, absolutely the best drive to maximize all your desire desktop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great hard-drive. It's small, but it holds the memory of bigger sized hard drives. It is extremely simple to use. Kingston did a great job with this product. I Strongly recommend this to anyone that need to transfer data or free up storage on any compatible device. I would say this only thing that could use improvements are the instructions, but they are tolerable.

Boost in my laptop performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this Kingston A400 SSD to my laptop as a secondary internal drive. On my laptop installation was pretty easy. I am a visual learner so I had to look up a video to ensure installation went smooth. Surprisingly it wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined. I moved most large files from my main hard drive to the Kingston A400 including game files and rebooted my laptop. After doing so I saw a nice increase in startup speed and my laptop runs a lot smoother. SSD drives use to be extremely expensive but now that they are affordable it’s worth replacing the old standard SATA drives. Overall a good experience and a great addition to my laptop performance.

A good OS drive, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sure Kingston is trying to keep up with competitors, and bless them for trying, but this drive just isn't much more than run-of-the-mill. While it will fit a laptop nicely (exceptions apply), it needs an adapter for a desktop computer, which being sold separately already makes it a step behind. The lack of cables isn't really a setback when talking personally, but I can see for others that it would be annoying. Already, unpacking, things aren't looking good.
Slapping it in to a system, that kind of storage space isn't really going to be good for a whole lot these days other than an OS drive. As such, that's what I did with mine and got "fair to positive" results. While read times were acceptable, there wasn't really any sort of mind-blowing user experience when it came to navigating the usual tasks (opening programs, utilizing tools and widgets, etc.). It's still nice to have a clean drive and partition to run an OS off of, but...well...it's really just another drive to manage.
Worth it if you're making the switch up to SSD for your operating system. Otherwise, just kind of a stocking stuffer that may or may not collect dust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a few issues in install and use of this drive. I’m not sure this would be the case for everyone, but it works fine once implemented to the system. Depending on your expectations, you might look elsewhere for something a bit more expensive. Please note, I’m not a professional with these technologies and am only offering my review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed something to replace my other SSD that malfunctioned. This worked wonderfully. It is fast and easy to install. The size of it fit perfectly in my laptop. I liked the packaging too. It was easy to remove and it came to me in pristine condition. I still can’t believe the speed and reliability of it.
