Just What We Wanted

Oh, what an upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we remodeled the kitchen, it was time to look for a new stovetop. This 36" Stainless Steel moded was just what we were hoping for--hoping, because it was iffy whether we could still get it. But it came through, and the difference between this and our 30-year old 5-burner stovetop is night and day. We love the huge burner in the middle--boils the spaghetti pot twice as fast as the old one. This stovetop puts out LOTS of heat, so there is a short learning curve while getting used to this level of flame--start lower than you're accustomed to, and then raise the flame as needed. Also, it's a breeze to keep clean. Spills will happen, but this is a joy to clean up afterwards. It's nice when something this handsome is also so very practical and easy to work with. Example: sliding a bit pot from one burner to the next with no need to lift a heavy pot. So well thought-out!
