im am very pleased with the s3 i previously owned an iphone4s wich i really liked but after 2 months i sold it on ebay and purchased the samsung and havent had any regrets although the the phone should be rebooted once a day otherwise i have not had any problems and i really like the larger screen i have owned a tab and i am really considering the note 2 i played with it at a tmobile store and i loved it .
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, ease of use
Cons: tends to freeze

A good system wasted on a mediocre cell provider

The Galaxy S3 is one of the best phones I have owned but it is not without problems. The touchscreen is somewhat inaccurate and is, at times, very slow to respond. The inaccuracy is exacerbated during editing by the lack of navigation arrows for the keyboard. While the display is clear and responsive, it is much dimmer than the better IPS LCD screens. This creates a battery lifetime issue as I am always manually setting the screen at or near the maximum brightness and this runs down the battery. The fact that I am on T-Mobile hides many of the phone's virtues as I often lose signal and even when I am on "4G" (HSPA+) I find the download and streaming speed of my phone much worse than that of a co-worker running Verizon's 4G-LTE network.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, good support from samsung
Cons: Did not meet expectations

iPhone who!!

I got the Galaxy S3 because my carrier did not offer the iPhone, and boy am I glad I did! This phone just blows my mind. I had the opportunity to compare these two phones myself and other than the retina display the Galaxy was right for me. I thought this phone was big at first and compared to the iPhone it's, but I have gotten use to it and this may sound weird but I want a bigger screen, so know I upgrading to the Galaxy Note 2. But, this is still a great phone, if you have one you know what I'm talking about, and if you don't GO GET ONE!!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: screen could be brighter

Time for a change

I needed a new phone for my line of work. I have just recently became state licensed and require a "grown-up" phone. I have always had basic up until now. I am pleased to see how well I am growing in my business, due to the capabilty of having the whole world right at my fingertips. As of yet, I have no complaints. The phone is doing everything that it is promised to do. A great purchase! A+++
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, amazing camera quality

Best Smartphone Ever

I cannot say enough good things about this phone, it is just such a wonderfully designed & well thought out product! I cannot wait for the S4, that is how much I like it! ALL of my friends have bought it & they too are just in love with it! My ONLY gripe is that I cannot get the Jellybean update thru my carrier yet??? PLEASE get us this update soon & make this phone that much better!! Koodos Samsung!!!

Why can't I consistanly connect to Kies using Win7 64-bt?

This is such a spectacular device, why can’t we have a driver that is consistently able to connect to Windows 7 64-bit? I have to reload the latest driver continually and I only get it to connect with Kies 1/3 of the time. The driver works great with Windows 7 64-bit itself, but has a problem connecting to the latest version of Kies so I can sync my contacts out of Outlook 2010. I have an engineering degree in hard ware and software and have been in the computer business for over 25 years.

Good Features and low cost at upgrade

First time with touch screen and everything is going smoothly. Did buy stylus to use instead of fat fingers. Very happy with phone, features and cost.
