I had compared phones for a few weeks before I finally decided to purchase the GS3 and i'm glad I get. First off I want to say the battery life is astounding for an android. Depending on how often you use apps you only need to charge the phone every two days. The design is great. It is very light weight, large in your hand but in my personal I like it. Overall, amazing phone. I would recommend this to everyone.

It would have been perfect to get the quadcore on this phone. The 2GB of RAM is a battery drainer.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery, no quadcore

Great phone

I am upgrading from a Galaxy 1 (Captivate) and the differences are incredible. The GPS actually works. The ability to pick up various signals (wi-fi, 3g/4g, bluetooth) all seem much improved. The screen quality is superb. Call quality is extremely good. Video playback is smooth. Not sure about the actual mechanical button for 'home' and the size of the power button is a bit small. Also, the way the back pops off to give access to the insides seems a bit flimsy. Those are small quirks in comparison to the rest of the build though.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, smooth operation with ics, much improved gps
Cons: small power button, back plate flimsy
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything is excellent. Just try out you will know what I mean..... lol
No complain, just remember to clean up the background apps once awhile to ensure for best performance!!

We have many Samsung products. My husband has the Galaxy S II and he loves his phone. I recently had to buy a phone because my work phone line was being cut. So my husband added me to his family plan. I was so excited to learn that the Galaxy S III had just been released. The phone is even better than the S II. My husband can't wait until it is time for him to upgrade his phone.
