Intimidating at first

Wow, this is quite a machine. Being my first "Smart" phone, I have found it a little intimidating at first. But I've jumped right in making silly mistakes that do no harm.
I've had the phone for less then a week, so I am not an expert at drilling down through the various systems to get the displays to look how I want, but I'm making progress.
I am a tall person with large hands so I appreciate the width of the phone, not that I believe this will be a problem with average size people. My wife got the same phone, she is not tall, and finds the phone fits nicely in her hands.
The few apps I've downloaded work well. No slow down as the CPU works. Watch a video from NASA TV and it streamed smoothly. Have no idea how games run, but I probably won't find out since I'm not interested in them.
My only problem is getting use to typing on the screen. Swype makes more errors then I care for, so I spend too much time editing. I've ended up using my pinky to type because the ends of my other fingers are too large. Since I'm a touch typist, using my pinky to reach the keys is weird.
The screen is beauty. Had read some people thought the screen to too dim, but I haven't found that to be the case for how I use it.
Voice commands are not working well since the machine hasn't adjusted to my voice yet.
Battery holds up well for all the processing the CPU is doing.
So much more to learn. Quantum leap from my old flip phone. My iPhone friends have been impressed.

This phone is smarter than I am

I was skeptical about any benefits that would come from switching over from a feature phone (also a Samsung) to a top-of-the-line smart phone, but no more! I love this phone and I haven't even used half of its capabilities. Graphics are spectacular and after poking around a bit, the OS is fairly easy to figure out and very user friendly. The only downside is it is a bit pricey and there's no built-in help, which would be nice for newbies. I was very concerned about battery life but it goes for about 2 days on a charge, using Wi-Fi and the cell network (but not BT or GPS).
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, good sound, good phone capabilities
Cons: not bright enough for outdoors
I would recommend this to a friend!

its software is behind as far samsung goes but thats a t-mobile problem..... but over all it has a few bugs in it like music skipping on some types of files but its adjustable and easy to figure it out !!! nice phone and fast phone and jellybean made it an even better phone but hoping for the premuim suite features !!!!! SOOON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: expensive, screen broken easy, needs software update

The best phone I have had yet

I have had this phone the Samsung Galaxy S® III for over a year now and love it as much now as the day I purchased it. I have recomended this phone to family and friends and I know of at least three that have also purchased it and are as happy as I am. User freindly and simple to use even without reading the manual on it. I was due for a upgrade on my phone this past December and turned it down, because I love this phone and don't really think I could find one I would be this happy with. Hands now, it's the Best!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, very easy settings to understand and use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Galaxy S 3 Just Arrived!

I am so happy with the choice I have made on purchasing the Galaxy S3. The camera is clear and precise. 4G Speeds are awesome, clear and bright screen resolution. Sound quality on calls are clear and crisp. It is very pricey unless you are starting a new contract with T-mobile. But It is definitely worth cost.

the only bad thing is that it does not come with a satus update/social update
