Good phone

Good phone. Have had it for 4 months generally happy...phone has shut itself off a few times but that is probably from placing it down too hard. Play store is improving apps available. WARNING If you plan to purchase additional memory card for phone don't buy a SanDisc card because after a while card go bad and you will loose all of your files.
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK..I love my Galaxy SIII. However, like most things you love, there are a few things you'd still wish could be tweaked. I love the bigger face which enables me to actually be able to read it w/o my glasses or bleary eyed when I get that emergency call at 2:30 AM. The keys are nicely spaced which, for someone with longer fingernails, is a plus. My internet speeds and accessibility are virtually always available, except for those few areas where I get no signal regardless of phone or carrier. So, all of these, plus a general ease of use which makes it great for first time smartphone owners as well as pros, would make is a 5 star phone...but...there are issues with the call volume, particularly if you are playing music on headphones which only seems to resolve if you restart the phone and it doesn't flow seamlessly between WiFi and non-WiFi even if you have the phone setting selected to do so. You can find work-arounds for these issues but its a bummer that there are these type issues in the first place. Hence, why I only can give the S III 4 stars and not 5.

Awesome phone before 4.3.....

This was a great phone until I was forced to update to 4.3. I usually only get about 3 or 4 hours with everything turned off. Before I could almost get a full day out of it. As phones go it's held up well and it you buy the Zagg screen protector and a Pt case your probably golden. Just make sure no matter what you don't do the update. If its a GS3 4.3 or a different phone, then I'd suggest a different phone.
Like I said, I was absolutely happy with this phone up until the update. Honestly Samsung makes a great product they just need to realize that most people would like to have a working phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: extremely poor battery life.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The design is so smooth and sleek unlike the iphones. It feels like a smooth pebble, just saying. Other than that, the performance is very fast. After I had updated to jellybean the keyboard is much more responsive. great job Samsuung!

have had the phone @ 18 months work great I am not a techie but I do use many of the apps. I like the size of the text typing keyboard. good size for some one in their sixty's
