i bought this 2 weeks ago and its really nice. i really like the slot for putting a card in, if only there was a second slot so 2 cards can be held.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No more grape???

I am disappointed that the case is sold out in grape. Looking at the reviews this appears to be a periodic issue.

I picked up this folio "mod" to protect the mod pins and screen when I wasn't using a moto mod. It works well for what I bought it for but it has some quirks:
- If you hold the phone by the cover flap, it will likely come loose and fall to the floor. It would be nice if the magnets gripped better.
- When you close the flap, the screen stays on... this is unfortunate as I LOVED that my Nexus 5 Folio cover turned the screen on and off automatically.
- When you fold the flap all the way around, it feels sharp and stiff in your hand.

Despite the quirks, I prefer this case to the edge bumper 'case' I had on the phone previously.

I have had and used this folio for about a week and the durability is lacking. I initially loved the color and fit, but it Already came apart on the back side of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Useless with modes

To use it you have to take of mods. If I'm using power pack to support phone battery, what do I need it for: Want it Fit.Is useless!!!! That is the last time I'm dealing with Moto. I'm customer for at least 10 years. Before the battery of the phone did die after 23 months, now is doing that after 3 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs improvement

Great idea.
My only issue with the moto Z is that even at the seconds generation there is still no case to accommodate the power mod. The Z needs academic that's ez on and off for mod changes an the always allowed power mods. I bought the Z because I wanted the quick charge "always charged" option. I have never owned anything but motorola. Dont let me down. I literally know hundreds. That want a case that accommodates moto mods

Decent folio with some quality concerns

I bought the "Oxford Blue" folio. I love the look and feel of it - feels like textured nylon - and putting it on and off is so easy with Moto Mods magnetic connector. However, I have some concerns about the quality. It is less than 1 week old and already is starting to show some fraying on the corners. I have a bad feeling this is going to peel apart in a matter of months, though I hope it doesn't.
I also bought the "Melange Pink" one for my wife's phone. That one has an even better feel since it's kind of like felt/fabric. Really good if your phone tends to slip out of your hands. She hasn't used it much (always has a battery mod on!) so it's hard to compare the wear on it. It looks to me like the edges are put together a bit better so maybe it doesn't have the same fraying issue.
Motorola Support, if you read this, I would not mind receiving a Felt Grey folio to compare with my Oxford Blue one and see if it holds up better (wink wink, nudge nudge).
These also have the slot to put 1-2 cards which I haven't tried yet, but I imagine that works just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
