Watch the tilt on your cookware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1st one delivered had issue with flame coverage. The replacement works nicely. As a quick caution, smaller cookware may tilt until you have enough weight in it. I really like the big center burner.

What an awesome stove top!

And I love all our Bosch appliances, especially this stove top. Never thought i needed five burners, but wow! I use them all. Different sizes allow me to decide what to cook on each burner and it's spectacular! Best part? Cleaning it! So easy! Amazing. I love it!

Excellent design and construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stovetop works very well and is laid out very well for daily use. The center burner is great for wok cooking or boiling water, although it does not heat as quickly as I would like. The low regulations are excellent, allowing simmering without burning. I would definitely recommend this stovetop and would buy it again.

Bosch Cooktop Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Bosch Cooktop. I have used the alternate cooktop disc for a larger burner. I really enjoy the flexibility. If using the large front left burner the closest knob may become hot. I always use a pot holder. I just love the cooktop.

Won't Buy Bosch Products again

I remodeled my kitchen about 6 years ago and bought the Bosch 30" gas cooktop (based on Consumer Reprts review) and the hood. Also purchased their dual wall oven. The cooktop looks very nice, but only the large, middle burn is good for anything other than a simmer. The other burners can't get a pot of water to boil, and barely keep any large pots boiling. They are also useless if you are trying to brown meat or saute anything. But now, the middle burner won't light because the igniter has a crack in it. I tried to take off the burner and the screws cracked (based on YouTube videos, this is a common problem.
The cooktop hood looks very nice, but there are only two speeds. The low speed works ok for minor exhaust needs, but the high speed sounds like a leaf blower and is way to high for most needs. Something in between would be perfect.
The wall oven has needed repairs twice since it suddenly gets an error code E215, locks the door, and turns the heat up to full blast, competely roasting (to charcoal) anything inside.
Based on this, I will not be buying any Bosch products in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How we can boil water! And other joys of cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We researched ratings for a replacement of 20+ year old gas cooktop. After seeing the products in person, combining our already positive experience with Bosch dishwasher, and having solid ratings we bought the five burner gas cooktop.
Boiling water in far less time is just one benefit. The heat controls are finer and more accurate. We have simmer burners that don't burn the contents in the pan or pot.
We are cooking faster and better with our Bosch cooktop and now have eyes on an oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The five burner works very well. Like that a red light goes on whenever 1 or more burner are on, for safty purposes. Only thing is that the flames of the burner in the center can go very high, and sometimes burns the handles of pots on the other 4 surrounding burners.
