We wanted to upgrade our range hood and have had Broan hoods in previous houses, so it was natural for us to upgrade again to a Broan hood. The hood is beautiful, modern and powerful.

Great Kitchen Hood. Quiet and effective in moving smoke, odors and steam out of the kitchen. Great LED lights. Easy to clean filters. They pop right out and fit easily into the dishwasher.
Quickly and easily replaced my old hood and was very easy to install with the included "third hand" brackets.
The black/smoke finish looks great next to my black Induction cook top and refrigerator.

Lighting is too bright at low level…no nite lite? Can the bulbs led be changed out? Need a night light!
Instructions are deceiving, lacks critical installation info, rails cannot be used with current damper installed…comes with short damper, very cheaply made…short by 3” in height to replace older Hood. One person install? Not quite…extra hands needed…and a lot of patience to get it installed. Just a little to cheaply made.
I need a note light for this model…way too bright….
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Dk1968, Thank you for your review of model BCDF136BLS. This unit has 2 level lighting options but no night light feature. The LED modules are replaceable but are not designed to be interchangeable with other models. There is no alternative light temperature compatible with this unit at this time. If you need assistance with the damper information, please call our Technical Support Team at 800-637-1453.
