Great Replacement for OTR Microwave

I had an over the range microwave, that was much bigger than the space allotted for it. Not to mention it wasn't vented to the outside. I had unexpected work to do on the ceiling in my kitchen, so I took advantage, and installed the needed ducting to the outside and this Range hood. I have been using it for a couple weeks now, and so far, I really like it. It is pretty quiet, seems to vent really well, and it looks great. I can't say for the ease of cleaning the grills, but they remove easily, and seem sturdy enough. The LED's are also pretty nice and bright.
I had to special order this from a home improvement store, the big box stores both carry it. From what I noticed, the ranges in the stores go from 250 CFM to 400 CFM and have no middle group, with prices reflected as such. I liked this model, because it wasn't much different in price than the 250 CFM group, but a lot cheaper than the 400 CFM one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The fan is quiet and is very effective at clearing odors and smoke from our kitchen. Mine vents outside so I can't comment on how effective it would be using the non-vented method. The LEDs easily light up the entire cooktop. All this and energy star rated. I rated the ease of installaion as 4 verus 5. The instructions are very good but installing these are never 100% easy...especially if you are replacing an existing unit. Highly recommended.

We have had this hood vent 5 months and continue to have a blinking issue. It blinks on the lowest setting, never on the 2nd setting. Broan has sent a repairman 3 times to no avail. All parts have been replaced and it is still blinking. Even runs on its own line to the electric box.
