Easy to use high quality label printer

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.I was always on a look out for a good label printer to use mostly for printing out mailing addresses, return labels etc.This printer is a decent size device with very thorough and clear instruction manual. Came with all the accessories, paper rolls and everything necessary to start printing right away. Connection to computer was easy and fast and the software is user friendly. Labels are printed in high quality. This printed can be used with mobile devices as well which makes it very convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth it, too much hassle.

Can't get it to load properly on my computer, even though I have had techs remote in to try and fix it. Would prefer a refund. Much to expensive for the lack of work it does. You are better off just using a regular printer with 2 labels per page.

My First Experience with the Brother Label Prin...

Upon unboxing the Brother QL-1100 - Label Printer, I was very impressed with the size and shape. Its ergonomic design was perfect for placement on my office desk as it was small and compact and fit easily in a small area on my desk. The instructions and user manual were very easy to read with clear direction for installation, use, and images. Assembly was super easy and required very little set up. I`ve used label printers before and the Brother QL-1100 is far superior in terms of ease of use, print quality, and appearance. I was able to easily install the software and get this label printer up and running within 10 minutes after unboxing. Printing a label was very easy as well as the label printing software guided me through each step with clear instructions. Installing the software on my Windows computer was easy and required very little effort. Overall, I`m very satisfied with the quality and performance of the Brother QL-1100 and appreciate the ease of use and direction from Brother for installation and printing.

Dynamic Label Printer for home or business.

While using the QL-1100 for the first time, I was truly amazed at how easy set-up was for this lightweight label printer., It was very written with very simple instructions that were easy for myself, and my 16yr old to understand. It was simplistic in the assembly, and adding the spindle/cartridge couldn`t be easier.Some of my favorite features are that you can use the QL-1100 without installing drivers or software, and set-up and printing from a compatible smartphone was a breeze, Not needing any toner & ink is also a big hit with me. With that being said, I found the Brother`s QL-1100 label printer compared to, and exceeded my past use of other similar label printers on the market. There are a few things that I feel could be useful to improve on this label printer...Additional fonts would be great, the option to use color, to be able to not spend additional money for new spindles/cartridges also to be able to print directly using the labels for stamps. If you tried to do that now, it requires some time-consuming calculations to get the printing specs correct. The Brother QL-1100 is a wonderful addition to my home office equipment, it has already produced great labels that I normally would pay more for, it is made by a company that I know and have trusted for a very long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Item: Brother Label printer Brother QL-1100 STORAGE: I received the Brother QL-1100 - Label Printer in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Since starting a small business I was having to print my mailing labels and then cut and tape them to my packages. This Brother printer is almost perfect! It prints the labels on the preglued label rolls thus eliminating the need for tape..just print peel and stick. The only improvement I would like to see is making it wireless so I don`t have to hook my computer up to it.ASSEMBLY: It was simple to assemble. The labels come in rolls and are easy to install. It comes with the printer cord so you dont have to buy one.

The QL-1100 label printer had a very easy assembly and set up. It was a simple connection to my computer. I run a small business and this item prints business quality labels for my mailers and packages. It is very simple to switch to different size labels without any hassle. I am not very computer savy, but the set up was very simple and prints like a quickly without any jams. The machine is well built and quiet and gets the job done for any small business owner.

Easy and Fast

To start with this is easy peasy when it comes to setup, truly a plug and play printer. When you print from a PDF shipping label on the Mac, the print option lets you choose from a drop-down menu of prepopulated label sizes; this feature is so convenient. For shipping labels, I`ll choose "4x6 shipping label." The Mac print-to-PDF option shows you what the label will look like when printed; you can change the dimensions to make larger or smaller. Printing from PDF on the Mac is no-fail! You have to purchase compatible labels, which might sound obnoxious if you`re used to a different thermal printer that uses generic 4x6 labels. With this printer, you can use different rolls for different purposes (such as mailing labels, file folder labels, etc.) it automatically detects the size of the tape. The automatic cutter is convenient. This printer saves so much time! And my shipping labels look so professional. My use of this thermal printer on the PC is limited. The speed at which it prints is great, quality is very professional and comes out dry to touch. I don`t have PDF software installed on my PC, so maybe another reviewer can discuss the print-to-PDF functionality on the PC. You can print any label size for your needs. The versatility may spur your creativity and cause you to want to print bar codes, etc. I will probably try printing bar codes next. The mobile printing,Brother iPrint&Label app, making thus even more useful.
