The fan works well over the range and is powerful enough to reduce my smokey cooking. It looks good and so far has been easy to clean.

Chimney Hood

We purchased a home that this chimney hood had been installed in two years before our purchase of the home. The fan was noisy. Upon disassembly, it was discovered that the squirrel cage inside the fan assembly was off center and was contacting the housing during operation. The squirrel cage shaft was most likely not properly fully seated into the bearing during manufacturing. I purchased a new fan assembly, performed a five-minute install and this now works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you please include the duct size in the specs? One of the most important piece of information and it's not there.

This hood is designed to be vented vertically through the ceiling. Use a 6" round duct. Use locally supplied elbows to vent horizontally through the rear wall.
