Great Quality and features for the price!

My 7-yr. old GE Profile Range Hood died. The GE JVW5301SJSS was purchased to replace it. BOY AM I GLAD WE GOT THIS ONE! This range hood fit into the space almost perfectly, with the only minus being the plug location, which was the direct opposite of my old range hood's. This range hood is sleek, stylish and whisper quiet, unlike the old one. It compliments the GE Profile stainless steel, slide-in range, refrigerator and dish washer we have. The filters are a snap to clean in the dishwasher.

Enjoying this hood but wished I'd have been told how expensive it would be to add on to the stack. Beware you only get 2 pieces.

Love This Hood!

I bought this hood in July to replace a 39-year-old harvest gold under cabinet range hood that I sprayed black three years ago to match the stove, and I'm so glad I did. It's beautiful, modern, and a conversation starter; and paired with a stainless steel backsplash it makes my old stove look good too. In fact this was my inspiration for the new herringbone backsplash, marble countertops and soft gray painted cabinets. The fan is powerful on high and purrs on low; the light is bright enough to not only illuminate the stove but the nearby countertops as well. The entire hood, including the filters, are easy to clean.

Love the simple clean design. Lighting is great as well as boost feature on vent. Only recommendation is that you would make a larger hood extension for high/vaulted ceilings. Needed to have one fabricated specially to accommodate our high ceiling.
