Happy With Our Choice

We were renovating our kitchen from the studs out and getting this exhaust hood was a major piece of the puzzle. We wanted something that would stand alone and be attractive as well as matching the other appliances we had. Installation went well and we've been quite pleased. Fan is noticeable but quiet and the light is quite adequate for our needs. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Beautiful, simple design!

I have been very happy with this hood. It has 3 different fan settings that all work great to remove cooking smells & smoke etc. The highest fan setting is pretty loud but it works! I love the simplicity of the design. We use the light as a kitchen nightlight too- I like how it has 2 different light level options.

Ample CFM!

I love this range hood. I own a B&B and the kitchen is what once housed the jail for our city. We went with the natural brick walls inside which tends to really hold heat in the summer time. This exhaust hood pulls all of the heat from cooking out of the kitchen very nicely!

I bought this for the sole reason of the matte stainless steal finish. It works fine for pulling air to the outside.
It is super noisy however and the quality I find low. I installed it myself and the chimney is super cheap quality. I have already replaced the two halogen bulbs that burned out within a week of installations. I am also frustrated that GE made the light fixture specific to their bulbs. You are not able to replace the halogens with an LED, even though you can find the same size led to fit but it won't fit exactly.

maybe we should have gotten bigger model because it doesn't seem to extract all the smoke and odor when you're cooking. Also, it's not as quite as it was described

Very stylish and runs smooth, noise is limited (you can hear it working, but it doesn't sound like a lawnmower). The charcoal filters, sold separately, need some quality improvements (they come wrapped in brown paper with no paperwork or indication whether they are OEM or not).
