Noisy fan

Had this hood for about two months and now the fan makes a high pitched noise.

I have never had a dedicated range hood. This unit is quiet, powerful, does a great job, and the slate finish looks awesome.

Venthood cover is not aligned

Vent hood cover comes in two pieces. I have had the builder fix the alignment 3 times already. Still the the stem of the hood looks crooked. The installer says the hood cover is at fault. I have ordered the covered 2 times already. Both have the same issues.

Do not color match based on the pictures!

Wanted this vent hood to match our existing GE appliances. From the website pictures it looked like black slate was the way to go. It wasn't. It was slate. Sure miss the days when items were in store.
