Broke after a year of using

After very minimal use of a year this motor stop working, talked to GE only to find out it only had a year of warranty. We have to purchase a new motor and installed it. Instruction process is very poor and bad designed. Simply GE doesn’t make good quality products and this is why they only warranty it for only a year. Very disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a beautiful, sleek vent hood! I love the ease of the controls and the whisper quietness of the fan when in action! We leave the light on low at night for a nightlight! Love, love, love this product!!!!

Don’t buy this product as it’s not taking out the smoke and my whole house is full of smoke whenever I cook something.

We recommend making sure that the filters are cleaned, and that the surrounding area is free from any grease and dirt. You also will want to check that the damper cover is opening and able to swing freely.
