Overall a very good set

I loved this set. I think the structure is amazing and the way it has been put together and layed out is fabulous. The set overall looks good and so do the charectars. My only problem is that i wouldve wanted more from the sanctum sanctorum. It feels like it could have more of it. But that doesnt concern me to much. I would recomend it to anyone who might be interested in it and i hope anyone who gets it likes building it as much as i did.

One of the Best Marvel Builds!

The Build One of the few Marvel Modulars, this set does not dissapoint, filled with lots of little easter eggs and play features to keep one entertained for a while. the fact that the Sanctum build borrows tidbits from the Doctor Strange subtheme version makes the build all the better, as it keeps continuity between the films. I love the new designs from that side as well as the unique designs for Spidey's apartment and the Pizzeria.
The Figures Iron Man is ok, but he's available in a cheaper set and one of my least favorite Marvel heroes in general. Spider Man: I like the gold accents and arm attachments to this set but I wish that the head was different and the legs were dual molded. The web play features are neat though. Doctor Strange: the hair piece is a tad more accurate to the character's movie appearance than the previous version and the power burst? elements work well for him. Ebony Maw: a solid figure and the power blast pieces are fun to play with. Cull Obsidian: the weapons aren't perfect but the (I think new) head/shoulder mold looks great as does the printing, and if nothing else, the chains provide for fun interaction with other bigfigs and minifigs.
Overall while this isn't perfect, it's definitely worth the price and a good purchase for fans of Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Spider Man, Marvel, or even Modular Builds.

I like the water tower.

This set is fantastic to look at. The attention to detail is very great and makes a good display piece. The inside is a little more hollow than I would have hoped for, but I don't know what they WOULD have put inside. One of my favorite aspects of this set is the pizzeria. At first I thought it would be a useless part of the build, but I actually like the realism it adds to the NYC setting. I did NOT like the movie Infinity War, but I love the characters of Doctor Strange and Spider-Man so this was a must have. And, a very excellent detail is the Daredevil "Easter egg" in the set. I understand that Daredevil sets based off the Netflix show wouldn't exactly be kid friendly, but I think they could maybe try to do a generic Daredevil vs. Evil-Guy-Kingpin set; kids really like good vs. evil and Marvel fans would really appreciate it. I made a custom Daredevil where I took the ears of Black Panther and turned them backwards to look like horns, though I'm getting off topic. The minifigures aren't that great to me just because they're either characters we've gotten before, or characters that I don't care about. Or in the case of the "Iron Spider", they just don't look good (Lego did a great job getting the figures to look like how they do in the movie).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth The Money

Major Maniac here reviewing the awesome Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown. I am a collector of Marvel Superheroes, City Trains, and Modulars.
This set has it all. I love having Lego buildings which can serve as a "set" for your characters. In this case of have not one, but two "good guy" bases between the sanctum and Spiderman's apartment. Lots of cool little features from blow out walls to trap doors. I love this set. The only thing I would have liked to see is some type of "bad guy" vehicle maybe. Something that would have had blasters for these two baddies, but all in all, I love this set.
I purchased two so I can try to make it into a modular.

Great playset, holes in the back, no dual-molding

No dual colors on the spiderman Minifigure's legs. It looks absolutely dreadful. Why LEGO chose not to dual-mold the legs boggles my mind, especially since LEGO dual-molded the previous Spider-Man Minifigure. An absolutely cost-cutting decision. Lego is supposed to be about "only the best". This is not the best. I inserted a picture to show just how bad it looks. It looks like his legs are broken.

Fun Set

This would be a great set for kids, young adults, and old adults. This set is marked 8-14 and the 8 year old part is accurate in my opinion, younger children might have a different time assembling the kit themselves, but with a parent it would be doable. This set is great. Lots of fun and nice accessories. Overall a good buy. I recommend it.

Well worth $99.99, which is rare for a toy

What can I say? I mean, it’s not my favorite Infinity War set, but god is it close. This set took longer to build than I expected, but it was well worth it. The play functions in this set are some of the best that I have ever seen, and the figures, with the exception of Ebony Maw, look outstandingly accurate. Overall, this is an awesome set that perfectly fits the price range that it is given, having 1004 pieces at a $100 price range, which translates almost perfectly to LEGO’s 10 pieces = $1.00 system
