[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phones is good for the price! I was just dissapointed with some of the hardware. My headphone jack stopped working within a year and the charging port stopped working within 2 years. This dissapointed me because my experience with G4 was not good. so the phone is alright for its price.

I bought this about 1 year ago and has no cracks since then. Functions fine. Battery works perfect. Best of all 2 year manufacturers warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G6 is amazing. Aside from no root or bootloader unlock, (root junky here), this phone has a wonderful interface, small yet big and easy to use, and a camera that's beyond this world. With proper care, and protection the durability is flawless too. Users below should take responsibility for their own breakage.

Solid LG phone
on June 1, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros:
- Comfortable size for holding and using
- Screen colors are excellent
- Quality Pictures
- Phone speed is excellent (There were moments when first setting up the phone while
it was updating that it froze but only for a moment - have not had problems since)
- This has a VERY responsive touch screen - great for texting
- Waterproof
Cons:
- Battery
~Battery life is very poor
~Battery is not removable
- The Quick Cover Case is not an option on this phone - I was devastated to see this
simple feature was not offered. I always use a flip case and am very used to utilizing
the case screen to answer calls, read texts and what-not.
- Lacks customization features for ringtones, sounds, and other simple features that I
will get into later. If you are fond of customizing your phone as I am, the LG V20 is a
great option.
- No LED notification light (This was dropped on the G5)

I will try to keep this brief but I would like to touch on all aspects of the phone and point out a few areas that I found to be great, and also disappointing. Throughout my review I will be making comparisons to the LG V20 that I used prior to this and loved.
I have owned all major phone brands and have been an LG supporter since the LG Optimus F7 as I became fond of their operating system and variety of customization features that other phone brands lacked at that time.
Starting off with the actual phone design, there is no doubt that this phone is visually sleek and stunning with the full glass body and metal frame. The size of the phone promotes a very comfortable hand hold without sacrificing screen size at 5.7". When compared to the screen of the LG V20's 5.7" display, the width is greater on the V20 and does allow for larger icons and viewing as you can see in the attached photo which is a big plus for individuals needing this. There is an option to increase the icon size which does help. The screen colors are exceptional with a bright and vivid display and makes streaming and the like that much more enjoyable.
On the downside, I must admit that I am very disappointed that LG is following suit as other manufacturers in having no removable battery. I was glad they had not taken part in this as this is a purely economical standpoint on the manufacturers side as it makes the phones more disposable. With this comes very poor battery life that with consistent use brings the need to charge your phone before the end of the day. If you are not on your phone regularly, this will not be a problem. As in one image I attached, at 1:40, I was at 38% battery life. This was with pretty rigorous use.
In addition to this, I was surprised at the loss of some of the customization features that I always appreciate on a phone. (This paragraph is really getting down to the little features that may not be important so feel free to skim over. :) ) The V20 boasts a large number of ringtones, alarms, and notification sounds that are limited on the G6. For those who like the selection without downloading, the V20 may be the better option. Simple little things such as no longer having the option of a conversation theme messaging bubble selection to choose from is petty but is something that I always liked the option to have. Another change that I noticed that was within the calendar, is that it is much more difficult to change the event color of an appointment in your calendar and took me a while to find. These simple features seem to have been changed for no reason making it not as user friendly which is a step in the wrong direction for me. I have always found LG phones to be exceptionally easy to navigate and customize so am hoping this isn't going to continue to change.
As stated above, there is no quick case cover feature and am sad to see this not being utilized in this line any longer. This is another one of those user friendly options and I am disappointed to see this go and hope that this is brought back on. For those that do not know what this is, this is a feature that LG brought on at the beginning of the "G" line that allows a user with an approved flip case on their phone to answer phone calls, read messages and alerts on their home screen within the window box in the case. Along with this feature missing, is the LED notification light. This was dropped on the LG G5 and feel this is a simple feature that is unfortunate to see missing. To me it is the little things that count.
On the good side, this is still a very user friendly phone, for those who are unfamiliar with the home screen options, the traditional Home style is "Home & App Drawer" that needs to be changed within the Home settings in display which can make your phone a little less generic and more user friendly.
I have found this phone to be the most touch responsive phone that I have used which has made this a wonderful phone for texting and emailing. Along with a better responsive touch, the phone speed is excellent and does not lag which did become a somewhat annoying habit of LG. It is nice to see that this has been focused on to correct.
The cameras on the LG phones have always been wonderful for taking pictures and the LG G6 does not disappoint. the double camera (wide-angle) lens is definitely something to get used to for those who are not, but once you are comfortable with this it takes picture perfect pictures.
This is an all around good phone and has definitely improved from the troubled LG G4. For what you are looking for in a phone, either the LG G6 or LG V20 are great options! The G6 has the waterproof ability, improved screen appearance, responsiveness, and speed; and the V20 has the second screen for those this might be important to, a wider screen offering bigger visuals, a removable batter, and good battery life.
I hope this review will help you all in your phone buying experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When taking pictures it is crystal clear and when opening multiple applications it is fast and it will not lag. The voice quality is great. It is not distorted and the speaker on the phone is clear and it is not overloaded. The video has good quality and crystal clear.

Natural Blend of Performance and Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this phone as I have been an avid believe in LG tech for many years and in MANY categories. I have had an LG G4 and G5. The G6 is at once a natural progression, with consideration for those things that have worked wonderfully and for those things that perhaps, until the G6 arrived, you didn't know could be improved upon.
When removed from the box, you can just feel the richness of the construction and the perfect weight and balance of the G6. The way it feels lends somewhat to the fact that the unit has "glass" front and back. Very smooth and makes for a great "finish" and rich look. A very "deep" finish like looking at a fine car finish through many layers of clear coat.
The size is just perfect for most hands....not too wide and not too thick. One hand operation of many functions and programs feels very natural and can be implemented with ease. The easily located volume is back on the side, instead of on the back like my G4 had them located. The out of the way location of the off/on button means no accidental shutdowns because of hitting it, rather than a volume control. Also added is the fingerprint security option found on those other high end phones and you can customize your security.
Another outstanding feature is a return to the more readily available USB 3 port rather than the "C" that was on the G5. More connections are readily available to the user than with the "C" type connection. My wife has a phone with the C connection and she had to replace all her cables and chargers...and the G6 takes the broader road in the USB plug department.
The twin lens for the main camera function are insanely clear and offer a wide range of composition options...when coupled with the "grid" option from camera settings, there is no reason to not get a nicely framed picture every time. I am ramping up the camera use, but was surprised to find the "continuous" shoot setting as when you take a picture, but continue to press "shoot"...as long as you hold the button, it shoots. Makes for a flip book effect when played back, but you can capture the important instant of an action sequence with this mode. Coupled again with the top notch camera and you have wonderful memories preserved.
One area I was worried about as I had seen no write-ups inre to battery use....were soon put aside. Setting up a new phone, tons of data use and online work associated with at least MY phones....is a challenge for any one of my phones. ALL in the past have had to be plugged in to get the task completed, but the G6 sailed through a 4GB, multiple hours, program loading and settings session and the power remaining was still a very surprising 75%!!!! So far, I have never run into a situation where I have set the phone on it's charger where it has not had MORE than 90% of the charge still available. SPEAKING of charging, if you have the US version of this G6, you are in luck...it features wireless charging!!!!! The wireless charge goes as fast or faster (depending on the cradle purchased) than the wired fast charge that came with the unit.
I am looking forward to many more days of use with the G6 and hope I can expand on some of the matters I have touched upon here. Time will be the difference, but I can truly state that the G6, out of the box, has presented fewer "problems" and or irritations than any other smartphone I have used and set up. OH, the phone was an effortless match to my carrier. I hope these observations have been informative and perhaps answered any questions you may have. The G6 is so innovative and intuitive...I'm glad it has come into my hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the phone and maybe make it a little bigger. It has good quality , function nice, but I think they should make the volume a little higher to hear better . The camera is one of the better camera of most of the phones out on the market, I really think with a few more teaks it be a super phone but out of 10( I give it a 8)!

My 3rd LG and the best so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I have been huge fans of LG products for a long time now. We have 4! LG TVs. And for the last six years, all of our Smartphones have been LG's.
The latest version, the G6, is the best one to date. When LG makes a new phone, they always keep the best of the previous version and then build on that with better design, functionality, graphics, video, processing, etc. I always appreciate the fact that the phone itself fits perfectly in your hand. Just the right dimensions.
The processor is super fast, making internet activities a breeze. And excellent response time too. The new camera is also superb. It's ability to change aspect ratios is innovative and produces terrific photos and videos.
All in all, the new LG G6 smartphone is in my opinion the best choice to make.
