Fragile phone with numerous flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to purchase this phone; at the time I was deciding between the Pixel and the G6. The G6 was less expensive, and I was happy with my Nexus 5X (built on a LG phone), so I got the G6. From day one this phone has underwhelmed and . It was terribly difficult to use LG's software to transfer my information from the 5X to the G6; took far too much time over multiple days, and I didn't even get everything I thought I'd be able to carry over and had to manually reinstall multiple apps, losing all data and passwords. The call quality on the G6 was a major downgrade from the 5X, which I simply can't understand; sadly, this impacts my daily use as the difference in call quality is most easily observed in my apartment. The G6 is not compatible with my car using the Android Auto app., causing continued frustrations. And then today I dropped my phone and the "military grade" glass back shattered. It is still operable, but I am looking at new phones after only FOUR months. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this phone. It could just be a lemon, but that's up to LG to tell me.

Nice phone - but no security updates

This phone has not received a security patch since Dec 1st, 2017. If you use your phone for work, most likely your IT security team will disable access to the corporate network due to lack of security updates released in the past 3 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

From Nexus 5 to LG G6

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had trouble free rides with my unlocked phone purchases and I'm very happy with the LG G6 purchased online. Fast, smooth, does everything I want, and is large enough yet fits in my purse or pocket. Found an inexpensive Tch 21 silicone cover that gives it just enough friction in my hand for one handed use without weight or bulk.
My first phone with fingerprint security that so far does not read my friends fingers And that gives me option of SD card expansion.Feels good, looks good, with excellent connectivity.

You can make this thing do anything!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this phone around 18 months ago. Ive had 0 problems. Works perfect, runs so much smother than the Samsung trash I had before this one. I use it for IT work when I'm on the go, had no problem installing net runner on it. I always end up destroying the charging ports within 6 to 8 months due to dropping it or it falling off the desk while plugged in. Still looks and works like new. I have it in the rain every time it rains never a problem. If you buy one of these phones you wont be Sorry. Even the battery lasts all day and night. Thats 12 hours longer than my s9. Love it.
