Son (12) was very excited when he saw the Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate. He owns every set from Jurassic World. The look of the house structure and Indoraptor was the draw for him. He wasn’t disappointed.
Mini-figures: Grade - A
Good details and nice chances of Owen and Claire from the Jurassic World sets.

Dinosaurs: Grade - B+
Indoraptor should have been a little bit bigger, but still real good details. Much better look for Blue with a lighter color and better look with his blue stripe from earlier set.

Lockwood Building: Grade - B
Good detail, but rooms could have been bigger. Also, the order of the levels didn’t match the movie since all the Lab was in the basement.

The mini-figures were strong and Blue’s new look was solid. Also like the triceratops skull since it (SPOILER ALERT) plays a big role at the end of the movie.

Dinosaurs!

So I actually managed to get this set before it was meant to be officially released. My local Kmart employees stuffed up and put this Lego series on the shelf early. Lucky me!
So this is one of the bigger Lego sets I've built and it is one of the most impressive. Just looking at the set, it looks like there might be a lot of repetitive, boring building. But I had a lot of fun building this set and watching it materialise, brick by brick. The building is rather slim but I won't complain there because it works better as a show piece which is why I build the Lego. The exterior building side is extremely nice looking. Was very impressed with the architecture. And the new Lego dinosaurs are freaking awesome, enough said. The set is a little pricey but we all know Lego is pricey, but with the price you can rest assured you have quality. And I guess with the new dinosaur figures they have to make up for the extra manufacturing costs.

I have been looking forward to this set and the whole Fallen Kingdom LEGO sets for a looooong time and I so glad there finally here. This set is a great set for kids to play with and it wasn’t hard to build. It also gives us a few hints to what might happen in the movie. Overall a great set that I recommend to get, the only thing I’d change is the price.

A Must Buy

This set is a must buy for any Lego fan, Child or Adult. The play features are great, the dinosaurs are awesome, and you can get most of the main characters in this set, as well as An incredible Mansion. The design is simple and easy, and most side builds of the set are the same, so it will be easy building the other side. Great for display and play. And definitely worth your money.

So ya this set is pretty good, the figs, the interior plus I love how they put the triceratops skull in. But I have one HUGE problem with it and many other Jurassic world sets, THE SCALE! PS. This might ruin some of the Jurassic world sets for you . The scale for this set is ridiculous, as you see in the films, velociraptors are usually shorter than people! Let alone %50 bigger! This wouldn’t be such a concern from me if they could fit easily through the doorway but ya that didn’t happen. This had bugged me for a while but I tried not to let this bother me. But then the indoraptor happened and I ya. I mean, I know it’s a bit bigger than a velociraptor, BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS! It is almost the size of a LEGO T. rex for crying out loud! Plus this thing could fit in doorways in the movie. LEGO please fix this problem in any new Dino molds you make. Anyway besides that I would give this a 7/10 just cause I think they could have added more and cause of the scale issue.

Things can get a little tricky when we're creating a set based on an upcoming movie! In some cases, we have to base our designs on early drafts or concept art. It takes us a long time to create a LEGO® set, and we want to make sure that it's good and ready in time for a movie's release!
We do our best to make sure things are as close to the final movie as possible, but if a detail changes during production, we may end up with a set that's not totally accurate. Either way, all our movie-based sets are okayed by the creators and they're always fun to play with! :)

Defective

My son was so excited to get this for Christmas, from Santa no less. Guess how he felt when he went to put together the indoraptor and one of the leg connecting parts was defective! One legged dinosaur! Not happy. Paying over $100 for a set is crazy anyway, but to have it not even complete! So disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
