Glad to find this refrigerator!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit on 1/18/2021, and was very glad to have found it! At that time any appliance was very scarce and to locate a Whirlpool to replace a much older Whirlpool was liken to an act of God!!

Love this refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 16 year old whirlpool refrigerator with this side by side beauty in white. It’s deeper than our previous one and a bit wider but thankfully fit in our small kitchen in our split level home. The water and ice feature is new to us and so convenient. There is plenty of room in refrigerator side but removed a glass shelf to accommodate tall items on top. Door holds enough items on the 5 shelves. The only thing that we noticed were the storage drawers getting stuck a bit. The freezer is narrow, no room for a whole turkey. Overall for my husband and I this is a perfect size and beautiful in white!! (Finger prints don’t show like stainless finishes)

So Far, So Good

We purchased this refrigerator as an upgrade to what came with our home 2-1/2 years ago.
We’ve missed having ice and water readily available through the door. We are huge ice users and water drinkers. Having to fill a self filtering water pitcher multiple times a day got real old real fast and having to open the freezer to get ice was very inconvenient. However, the water and ice in the door feature has been a bit of a challenge for my husband. We aren’t fond of the ice dispenser being behind the water dispenser. When attempting to get ice, sometimes the water dispenser button accidentally gets pressed and we end up with water and ice when only ice is wanted. Perhaps, a side-by-side design for the water and ice features would have been a better choice.
We’ve never had a side-by-side refrigerator before, so I was skeptical at first, but since it’s just me and my husband now, we figured it was a good choice for us and the space we had to work with.
In preparation for the arrival of the refrigerator, I purchased clear food storage containers to help easily identify food items in the refrigerator as well as being able to utilize the refrigerator’s and freezer’s space efficiently.
I love that this refrigerator has 3 storage drawers. We use one to store snacks such as yogurt and pudding and jello cups. I especially like the LED lighting. It gives off the right amount of light and makes the food look great.
The freezer is working out well for us. There’s a good amount of room to store frozen dinners, veggies, snacks, etc.
All in all, this refrigerator was a good purchase.
