Unable to connect to wifi

Just received this product as a gift. I am unable to connect the device to wifi and I have tried at three different locations. I follow the instructions provided as well as different youtube videos. Anytime I hit search on the app I am told Your device (... iphone) doesnt enable wifi connection. Please enable wifi connection and try again. Am I missing something??? Is there a new update I should be waiting for?

My mother got me this speaker for Christmas. She also purchased one for both of my sisters as well. When I returned home Xmas night I set it up at home. I used it for a total of 10 minutes. A week later I moved and tried using it once in the middle of January and the volume kept going up and down by itself. I just assumed it was dying and went back to using my ihome instead. Finally got Wi-Fi at the new house last week so tried setting up the concierge speaker because of the Wi-Fi capability that my ihome does not have. I have tried using the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and have even plugged in the aux cord and absolutely no sound comes out of this speaker at all. Complete waste of money.

Bluetooth Speaker Is Anything But. Difficult Setup

I was hoping to be able to stream music and YouTube channels through the house with this thing via wi-fi. Good luck. The setup is confusing and lacks detail. I gave up on that.
So I settled on just using it as a Bluetooth speaker. Surprise! It doesn't work with computers or laptops. The instructions say so but of course they don't mention that on the box BEFORE you buy. I have two and I can't get them to pair. I tried hard. With two laptops.
I even tried to pair with my iPhone 6 so at least I could have a speaker. I just doesn't pair. It will find the device but never connects.
So the only way I can use it is to connect directly with a cord, which does work. Sound seems decent and this is a nice option but it is definitely not "wireless".
I'm assuming you have to use the app but this limits you ability to play anything you want through your phone. Overall this was a colossal waste of time and money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Keeps telling me that my device doesn’t enable Wi-Fi connection. App doesn’t allow any kind of connection at all. What a waste of time and money.

Great Until Warranty Ended

We received this speaker as a Christmas present and were ecstatic! It played well and was able to be moved around the house and taken on my dad's job sites. Warranty ended about 10 days ago, and since then it wouldn't charge, and then the charging port on the device broke.

Don't waste your money

I am a technically competent person but could not get this device working after 2 hours of trying. I follow the instructions and as soon as it completes the speaker says lost connection to wifi. I gave up and am hoping to be able to return it.
