Real feel dinosaur!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mosasaurus is over 12 inches long and very sturdy. It was easy to assemble just click the arms and legs and then tail. The mouth opens and closes. My 4 year old likes to play with the dinosaur- he twists fins and puts smaller toys in its mouth. Great for the dino lovers for its large size (its heavy). It's doesn't make any noise or have any special features but fun to pretend play. No small parts or choking hazards.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big realistic fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first saw our new Dino friend in the box I noticed the length was listed as longer than the box itself so I was really curious to see how it would assemble. The process was genius but took a little hand strength to snap everything. I've got carpal tunnel but was able to do it all myself without an assist from my husband, however it was a bit of a feat to accomplish. It assembled really sturdily to produce a huge new Dino friend that my boys were thrilled to see. The only real drawback is the weight as it’s a tad heavy for them since they’re on the younger side of the age range. They haven’t seen the movies so he’s mostly used as a Godzilla size bad guy fighting their action figures but I anticipate that it will morph into a lot of new things as their imaginations put it to play over the years. We received this as part of a complimentary testing program with Matel however our recommend and review are completely our own and we would recommend this product series.

3 year old loves it but...

My 3 year old loves it but it only came with 2 of the 4 fins. Hoping to get 2 more for complete set.

It's HUGE!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this toy a few weeks ago and my son was amazed when we put it together at how big it is. It was easy to snap the fins and tail on. It is a very realistic dinosaur especially with the real feel skin. The mouth opens very wide to be able to eat all sorts of other toys. Overall seems like an excellent quality toy so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From looking at the box you don’t realize how large the dinosaur is until it’s put together! It’s quite large (picture added to show size). My three year old is loving dinosaurs right now! She has been taking this around everywhere we go, and even sleeps with it! It holds her attention for a good while. The material seems pretty durable also. I would recommend this toy!

Realistic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great looking dinosaur very life like. My son who is 3 loved making his dinosaur eat his little dinosaurs. The Mosasaurus is pretty heavy however for everyday playing and taking places. I think that he may find more enjoyment in the years to come. However if a child loves these characters then it would be a perfect toy!

Fin broke within first month

The model and feel are awesome, but the quality of the fin joints left me wanting. They snapped into the slots for the body just fine, but the joints for articulation were insanely stiff. After applying tons of pressure, they would make a cracking sound and allow movement, but you can hear the plastic grinding with every stiff move. My three year old son was trying to get one to move 3 weeks after purchase and it completely snapped at the hinge. I messaged mattel support about it in late july and have yet to hear back as of August 29th.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toy for my daughter who really enjoys dinosaurs, so she was quite excited to play with it. You must assemble the tail and legs (fins) to the dinosaur’s body. I had somewhat of a hard time snapping them into place. Once the toy was assembled my daughter grabbed the toy to play. I think she enjoyed playing with it because it does have a very real feeling and look to it and the legs and mouth are moveable. The size of this Mosasaurus is large as well, it measures 28” long. It is a good tool for imaginative play for kids. Although she enjoyed playing with it I found that the toy is a little heavy for its size. Overall I think that the Jurassic World Real Feel Mosasaurus is a cool looking toy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
