I bought this breathalyzer for fun, really, and have enjoyed checking my BAC on the occasions that I have been drinking alcohol. It is accurate and has allowed my friends and me to see just how long alcohol stays in our systems. Good product.

Great Product - very portable - very accurate

I have had three different breathalyzers from this company through the years and this by far is their best product. Previous products had issues with the sensor malfunctioning over time but I've had this product for six months and it has worked flawlessly. The size of the product and the use of the computational algorithms being managed by the smart phones makes it so that you can carry it with you all of the time. Although I am never legally intoxicated there is value in tracking the alcohol level over time in that you can demonstrate the absorption phase and the breakdown by the liver enzymes. This is important because one could stop drinking and not realize that their blood alcohol level will rise due to the delay in absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. I have given this as a gift to all of my adult children and they continually use the product. The only negative is that you must disable the tracking component of the software which is done easily enough but should not be included in future models.

I bought this because New Zealand changed the drinking limit from 0.08 to 0.05 and there is so much misinformation about how much someone can drink. It's different for each person on any given day. This device provides the peace-of-mind I need.

no one wants to drive drunk;i'm older(76) and take alot of pills; i never drink a lot, but when i'm out for dinner i will have a drink or two. it affects me differently at different times; now i always check. it has made me feel very good to know i am safe to drive.
